Kone of Wycombe.

Get it done McKenna!

RIP Sir Bobby

Chose the wrong option a while ago. Should've kept going and finished it.

It's that time when people start thinking we should be buying league1 player when we should be buying from foreign teams who have potential to be premier league players.

Kone is decent but is simply not the level we need.

Having watched L1 and Champ football this year...there's not a huge amount there that will improve what we have.

Not a chance on those 2 games v Charlton he looks and is a league one striker. We need quality must do better.

Don’t see it myself. He’s done ok at L1, but he hasn’t shown enough from what I’ve seen for the Championship, let alone a return to the PL.

Looks well short of what we need. Decent at L1.

Kone has the same attributes as Delap and will be at a top-end Champ or Prem team next season. We've been watching him all season and were close to doing a deal in January. He has also been watched by teams in Europe, I know at least two Ligue1 teams that are interested.

It's a shame for Wycombe that they've employed a coach who is $hite and doesn't know how to get the best out of him...hence, his drop-off in the last couple of months. Kone is the real deal.

Much prefer the Millwall Striker. He really is like Delap.

Kone is a very good player as well though.

You're the kind of poster that I can't work out if your serious or just talking sh1t.

And in case you're wondering, that definitely isn't a compliment.

Haven’t seen too much of him - but haven’t been that impressed, sure he will get a move this summer, but would think we’d want someone with a bit more ready made quality right now.

Would feel a bit Al-Hamadi esc that one, which would be pointless with Al-Hamadi still in the building.

Josh Coburn?

He is a bit of a throwback striker as well whenever I’ve seen him.

Technically and physically he looks a step up on Ali to me. If we were to go for him I'd hope it would be Hirst, A.N.Other and Kone rather than Hirst, Kone, Ali as our 3 for the 9 spots.

Physically he is a big guy in the mould of Delap. Close in age too. Over the two games I didn’t think Kone looked particularly quick, his control was poor and Charlton's defence dealt with him comfortably. He got the wrong side of his marker once and I thought ‘hello, maybe I’ll see why he’s being talked about’, but no, he lumbered forwards and wellied it into the side netting.

Not impressed, especially as they turned down £6m from Luton for him. Seems a lot of money for what I saw over those games. He has potential, I guess. Maybe he’s been injured, off form, season end tired or the manager’s lump it football doesn’t suit his game.

Anyway, I thought Delap was a waste of money when I saw him in pre season, so what do I know?

Mihalio Ivanovic.

Played centrally and wide like Delap. 6ft2 and physically more than capable but also very good with the ball at his feet. 13 goals in his debut season and only 20 years old.

Looks destined for the top.

I watched a few Wycombe games earlier in the season when Matt Bloomfield was still in charge and that style of play seemed to suit him better.

I thought Wycombe looked poor over both legs and seemed almost scared of Charlton - maybe off the back of the 4-0 drubbing near the end of the season.

If Luton were said to have had a £7m offer rejected for him in January, god knows what we must’ve been willing to go to for it to be considered close?

You’d like to think given the money which has come our way this season, that we’ll have put all the necessary infrastructure in place behind the scenes to facilitate more foreign transfers over the next few seasons.

Could we go for Keno instead of Kone? Very similar player?
