Divin Mubama - Man City striker… on 12:19 - May 30 with 1167 views | Mullet | One I’ve been suggesting since he was at West Ham. Assumed we’d only get a loan, but buying him would be a massive move. Lots of potential for a big return too. I do think raw and young strikers are fine if we have the balance in midfield and defence of experience etc.

Divin Mubama - Man City striker… on 21:40 - May 29 by Matt_Netherlands | I’ve heard negotiations are already complete. £10m initial fee City have a buy back clause for £11m He has a promotion release clause of £5m and city are due 25% of any fee we sell him for. Oh and we have to pay city an extra £500k for every goal he scores. |
Good that we are protected at least.

Divin Mubama - Man City striker… on 22:21 - May 29 by itfc1108 | How much do we have to sell him for if we don't get promoted though? And what if we do a Luton? [Post edited 29 May 22:22]

Instant contract termination and free transfer to Mutual Consent FC if we don’t go up. If we do a Luton, we owe city another £2m.

Divin Mubama - Man City striker… on 11:28 - May 30 by SuffolkPunchFC | Well, plenty of mistakes in there :-) Purchased for £15M + £5M if getting promoted = £20M. Eh? We got relegated, not promoted. Delap was purchased after we were already promoted. The Add-ons were likely to be appearance, call-up and not being relegated related. None may have been triggered, or maybe a very small one for appearances - say £1M. Could easily be zero in this first, unsuccessful season. ..with Man City getting 30% of the profit.. It has been widely reported for nearly a year that it was 20%, only one recent report says 30%. Likely that the most recent is a typo maybe? ..he would have been earning circa £40k a week.. Who would ever include wages in the profit calculation. If we didn't have Delap, we'd have another striker being paid similarly. Transfer profits of exactly that - what you made or loss from the transaction. |
You and your pesky and very inconvenient facts. What if we are angry and just want a good rant, what then?

Divin Mubama - Man City striker… on 12:49 - May 30 with 935 views | Sharkey | How much of that £10 million would West Ham get? Seems wrong if City can pinch a player, have the tribunal fix a fee of £2m and then make all that profit. I hope West Ham get at least half, because this stock-piling of players is grotesque.

Thought when a figure was set by a tribunal that it usually included a sell on clause.

As far as I've read, clubs agreed training compensation rather than there being a tribunal. Could well be a sell-on included in that, has been the case with deals we've agreed when youth players have moved on. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

...and an experienced striker in Hirst for him to learn from.
