Was sat in the pub earlier, and a mate showed me a Facebook post (I know) stating that Muric to Bournemouth is a done deal.
There was a very long link in the bio, which I suggested means it’s clickbait.

I think Muric could be very good next season with a bit of a slower press in the Champ.
I believe we actually got more PPM with him in goal than Walton or Palmer, perhaps because even though he made mistakes we didn't kick it long as much and retained the ball more.
Hard to say really but I think he could come good.

We won’t get anywhere near that. It’ll be a case of getting his wages off the books and resolving the problem / disruption of having 3 senior keepers. | |

Think he’s our best goalkeeper attribute wise but I’d be surprised if he plays for us again. Confidence and trust doesn’t exist with the management, players or fans and as such I just don’t see it working out here for him. Couple that with some of the supposed stuff behind the scenes and I’d be shocked if he’s not bombed out somewhere this window. |  | | |

Bit of a weird one given how much we like to champion the fact we look into peoples character before signing them.
One look at the Burnley message board before we signed him would have shown him to be not much of a team player.

Judging players on the content of internet forums, which always show highly polarised views, and the chance to ‘choose’ which are accurate, has to be the absolutely worse way to reach an informed decision.

Muric I think he comes out and collects the ball well in the air when in the box, as big as Walton is he did not come off his line enough and dominate the 18 yard area. None of our goal keepers stood a chance in the prem league with the high press from other teams, remember Newcastle. But did our back four have any trust in him ? Greaves did not. |  | | |

It's pretty obvious we won't get anything like what we paid for him. Therefore, it's probably in everyone's best interests to cut our losses and let him go to whoever still wants him.
The only way we should keep him is if we're prepared to give him another go and hope he comes good. I'd rather not take that gamble to be honest. |  |

Palmer will be Number 1 next season. He's got lots of Championship experience with West Brom. Like you say, from what I've heard Muric is pretty much finished at this club. |  |

I believe there has been a lot of knocking of heads with regards to last season. Where we went right and more importantly where we went wrong.
Although it could be said that if we had gained points in certain matches where we were in a position to win ultimately it was down to individual errors and not being strong enough in certain areas, particularly I would say midfield.
But we had too many errors especially in goal in the early days and Muric was possibly allowed to keep goal for too many games.
The situation though regarding our GK's is a complex one whereby one was demoted, one obviously not deemed good enough so ended up second choice and one brought in who remained No.1 and a young keeper with no experience.

I agree and would be surprised not to see him back as number one choice at the start of the season. Some of the hate for him is so over the top, I saw Palmer do some of the same stuff that did not even get a mention. Some seemed to have it in for him before he even kicked a ball last season! | | | |
