Isn’t the release fee meant to be £35M? Which is a lot for a player with just one season in the PL.
Mohammed Kudus fee is £55M and he has had a few more seasons in top flight football. I’m not sure that it’s a foregone conclusion that a team will pay his release fee - not sure we will want to sell for that much less than that. |  | | |

I think 90% of this board would admit that they are pretty resigned to the fact Omari is likely to leave. And if that’s going to happen, I think all of those people would want it done sooner rather than later so we have an extra few million in the transfer kitty.

Omari is a London lad though, so could see him being very keen if that opportunity arose.
West Ham are a bit of a mix between a buying and a selling club, so they might see potential upside value in Omari if he had a couple of seasons of solid PL minutes and works his way into the England squad. | | | |

This is a lad who looked the most comfortable during he U21s, a cut above not just other English players but many there, full stop.
Also, let us not forget, last year was only his 2nd, yes, 2nd year of pro-football, in the Prem with a team that was always up against it. Yes, he could have been better and could have been more effective but the reality is, if you look at his stats - he had a very decent season all told.

How do you know he's keen to go back to London?
You're just guessing at stuff and then stating it as fact.
He will probably leave but you have no evidence from this transfer or his upbringing, it's just all stuff you've decided is true.
