Our captain didn’t think gay people are anyone’s equal, not sure we should be aiming for moral superiority, just winning football games, and ensuring any lessons have been taken.
People make mistakes.., the condemnation and judgement from a minority on here is laughable .., I’m sure he’s grown up a bit, and he’s exactly the nasty profile we need.

You wouldn’t want to knock Butcher, Beattie, or a Marriners pint over would you…, you need an edge at the top of football.

He’s scored more goals in the last 3 years than George Hirst. That’s despite 2 of those seasons coming in a top division
We signed Richard Keogh and Brandon Williams in recent years despite both being involved in off field incidents, have had a captain in recent years with views that court controversy and seemingly do have some interest in McBurnie. So fairly obvious the characters part only applies to their attitude within the dressing room, and not off the field |  |

The worst record in our history .., obviously relative to the league we’re in.., not suggesting Colin Quaner would get a game.
Our worst ever points total.., and we earned that too.., lack of quality, and lack of physicality.
Ollie won’t solve the problem, but he’ll add some much needed teeth.
Love George to bits .., but our entire squad of forward areas doesn’t do the nasty stuff well enough…, aside from Chaplin who runs through walls but sadly doesn’t have the stature.
Moore doesn’t have the quiality but created space for others, we haven’t had a forward that occupies defenders and creates space for us to play.., we miss a Murphy or Moore type or at least a pest like Ollie.
Suspect he’ll end up a cult hero like Shefki if he signs.
No doubt those moralising will soon forget their morals like they did with our captain.
It seems the moral compass of some fans only extends as far as them liking a player or not.
A one off mistake or a lifetime of bigotted ideals .., I think we should focus on the football.., otherwise we all look like hypocrites. | | | |

Knew him when he was a youth team player - he was a decent enough lad. Suddenly he's on loads of money, away from home, and becomes a bit of a git. I think he could probably do a job but can't see him fitting in to the club ethos. |  | | |

I really dont understand the McBurnie rumour. Ignoring his personal issues, he isnt the player he was 4 seasons ago. I struggle with some Town fans who seem to think a player who was good aged 23 is still at the same level 6 years later. You only have to look at his last couple of seasons at SheffU to see he lost his ability, even his actual goal scoring ability. Didn't he set some record of going something like 40 games without scoring?
If fans want a striker who just gets their body between the defender and ball but nevers scores, I guess McBurnie is their answer. |  | | |

- Drink driving is bad whichever way you look at it. But that's nearly 6 years back now and hopefully he's learned from that.
- Giving Cardiff fans some gestures in the Wales derby goes hand in hand with that fixture lol. I wouldn't worry too much about that.
- Offered to pay for a Swansea fans funeral is a nice gesture.
- The fight looks to have been a highly abusive abusive fan on the street that's he's reacted to.
- Found not guilty of the stamping charge.
