Am I alone in thinking things are going to turn pretty toxic very quickly this season if we dont get off to a good start? Seems like all the goodwill deservedly earned over the last 3 season has been drained over the last 12 months and anything negative gets 10 times the attention anything positive (like beating a French top division side 3-0 away) receives.

We've gained a lot of glory hunters in the last two seasons, it will only be natural they're going to get upset if we start slowly.
On a positive, they will problem go back to putting their ManC, L'pool etc shirts back on if we do start slowly. |

Yep. In both promotion seasons, we had posters saying we'd better focus on 6th place and keeping hold of that when we went on poor runs in December/January/February. It was mad. Couple of people were even calling for McKenna to be sacked in our League 1 promotion season. That said, the number of bed-wetters (I know we aren't meant to call them that, but that's what they are) has definitely increased significantly over the last year. |  |
