Hopefully we never see AAH in a Town shirt again 22:06 - Aug 12 with 1742 viewsboysof1981

That was up there with one of the worst performances I’ve seen. Be better off playing with 10

I've seen worse. Mark Fish, Bobby Houghton, Glen Pennyfather, Marlon Harewood.

But he's rubbish in a team who honestly want to get back to the PL. Everything seems so...lame. Well done to Finn Barbrook and Cam Humphreys though.

I hope you are a lot kinder to your friends and family when they have a rough day at the office. Jeez.

You obviously haven't watched many Town games then.

AAH = Awful, Abysmal, Hopeless.

Sorry, I don’t normally like to be too critical of our players, but he looks like a pub footballer.

Sooner he’s gone the better.

Cheers,
JK

I'm much more annoyed he's been our second striker for so long than at the actual player himself.

It’s not just one bad day at the office though is it - he’s had amole chances but is utterly out of his depth at this level. Better to move on I reckon.

I've had my say on him so that's enough about one player, let's look at the bigger picture, Maidstone, Wimbledon, Bromley, McKenna doesn't give a toss about cup games. And that's his prerogative. If we could opt out of this cup I'm sure we would. I suspect the half time team talk was about how many minutes each player would get to be in optimal shape for Sunday rather than any focus on this game. Just got to accept that.

What about when town announce the line up on social media and all you get is the Iraqi AAH fans asking why he's not in the team, or that we need to play him etc etc. because he's just not that good.
Bring on Chuba, get banging some goals in lad!

You absolute child.

He wasn't out worst player tonight. He missed a penalty and honestly I didn't fancy him to score it but grow up. absolute rubbish about worst performances.

You can't have been following the club very long if that's one of the worst performances you've seen. What a load of rubbish.

Anyone frothing at the mouth over Ali tonight is just looking for attention.

More importantly there's work to be done with this side. Feels like we're still in preseason. There are mitigating factors but no time for excuses.

I do hope AAH doesn't read this forum. Posts like these do no good at all. True Blues would not put their own players down like this.

If he witnessed that tonight and Friday he will ask to go back to Ajax.

There are levels to football, I think he is at L1 now personally - would love nothing more for him to go and have a really successful loan spell in L1, and kick on his career - seems such a good bloke.

He had a difficult night, he’ll know that himself, no need for a blasting from the fan base here.

I don't care that much about the result but, he's a striker who has now missed three penaltys. That's atrocious and at the minute he's supossed to be our second striker to get us back to the Premier league ?

Massive exaggeration.

He’s miles off the level we need but we didn’t learn that tonight, it’s been evident since he joined. Staggering how a goal in a friendly has people thinking otherwise. He’s done here, and rightly so.

Too many rough days. It’s not fair on him. Completely out of his depth and nowhere near good enough. Worse, he knows it. You can see it. Kindest thing to do is move him on.m
