Headless club couldn’t be further from them truth. If we are referring to the transfer window now look at the revolution that’s happened this summer, the high value sales, the reinvestment, the acquisition of talent into slots we need to deal with due to leavers, contracts running down.

My attempt at sarcasm after a few drinks obviously wasn’t obvious. I’ll go and scrub up on my grammar and writing skills, and get back in my basket.
FWIW, I wouldn’t say I wasn’t a little concerned with the state of the squad (lack of depth in certain positions etc) but what I have learned over the last 3.5 years is that our club doesn’t stand still now. There may have been, in the past, what have been seen as panic buys but I was always confident we’d get bodies in.
Also, short term history also shows that we often go back for known targets but also get surprise ‘left field’ signings.
Overall, it still feels that there is a small vocal minority that don’t trust those in charge of the club be it with recruitment or management following a rough season (ahead of schedule) in the Prem, which has been a learning curve for us all, and a slow start to this season with an incomplete squad. It *is* literally invisible in the list of subject headers on the ‘front page’ of the forum, on my phone anyway, which is probably why many are getting caught.
You can only see it when you open the post, but how many people then read the subject header again? You tend not to because you’ve gone on to read the body of the post at that point. |  |

Genuine question… why would you expect to the the question mark in the header on the homepage when it only makes sense for the body of the text and not the title?

I agree that we should all be excited and I am. I don’t see anything wrong with a tongue in cheek post after all the negativity that I’ve had* to read and has dominated this forum for the last little while.
