Precisely. For Johnson, PL teams won't want him, not even the newly promoted ones. Championship clubs can't afford him. So we are stuck.
It beggars belief that this is Johnson's first season playing outside the Prem. So far he looks like some lower league signing rather than a Prem stalwart. |
Last year he looked much better as a Right Midfielder than he did as a Right Back or Right Wing Back.
He didn't look out of place in the games he started, in the Premier League, at Right Midfield.
He looked weak as a Right Back, though.
