Good as always but they must have some kind of record for the quickest run through of all of the generic, unimaginative away fans songs. Within the first five minutes after kick off I’d heard ‘football in a library’, ‘bus stop in Norwich’, ‘Ipswich is a sh**hole, I want to go home’, ‘no noise from the tractor boys’ amongst other generic songs, even before play up pompy

Exactly what I thought. All those cringy, dull, generic banter chants should be consigned to the bin as far as I’m concerned.

Was the nutter with the bell there? (previously banned from PR after spending 90 minutes clog dancing on the executive box roofs).

Yeah, the witty banter, chanting and originality from our away fans is much superior. Never heard any of these from our lads.....

We said the same thing. Think it was less than a minute before the first of these dull songs

Agreed, every club sings them but it was just the speed that they were rolled out that shocked us yesterday, it was like a generic away song mash-up playlist for the first 5 minutes!

Didn’t see him (or hear a bell) so I’m assuming not but could be wrong! He’s definitely still knocking about but not sure how many games he attends / is allowed to attend!

That " nutter" is actually a very intelligent individual lol. He owns (used to anyway), a rare books, book shop in Portsmouth I think. But hes definitely a " one off".

“A sh1thole”, they clearly don’t often go into their City centre.
Cascades makes the Buttermarket look like Milan.
Think they need to put their energy into supporting the team too, for me they look like a side who could quickly get dragged into a relegation battle.

sure I read someone had nicked his wig at the last game he went too.

think he has too many Pompey tattoos to get away without being recognised now, but I know he went to several games post his ban at Town before he did, simply by wearing a suit, and sat in the west stand.

He was outside station hotel having a crafty smoke. I had a quick chat with him, didn’t see any bell, or that hat/wig he normally wears - maybe trying not to get noticed…

They also sang "who's the scummer in the black" after one of their players received the most obvious yellow ive ever seen.

To be fair, they are up there with the best fans in the country.

I thought it was telling how quickly they resorted to disparaging chants about their own team such as "we've got the ball" and "we've had a shot". Even when they scored late on, instead of it galvanising support in the hope of snatching a last-gasp equaliser they were chanting "we've scored a goal."

Fans passionate enough to follow their club away from home being one-eyed - who'd have thunk it?

I thought they were pretty poor yesterday. They made a bit of noise but more interested in digging out the opposition and then their own team rather than getting behind them and supporting their efforts. Only really did that after the final whistle which was odd.

Portsmouth has been on the national news recently because of all the crime and antisocial behaviour, so they're fine ones to talk!

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

He was outside the Station hotel about 10-15 mins before kick off. No idea if he was actually in the ground or not.

Is he really banned from PR? He's pretty difficult to miss!
