It might be because I haven’t seen him play for a while his ability has grown greater in my head but it does feel against the low block teams at home he would be a good option.

I'm not in contact with him, but I believe he's better than Furlong (classic, he's not playing so he's better)
Maybe not defensively, but he's far better going forward and his love of the club gives an extra few % that is much needed imho. |  | | |

I miss him getting the blame for the vast majority of goals we concede, due to him being in the position that he was told to be in.

Only if you don’t understand the actual role he was being asked to play. Not only was he required to be narrow, almost a right centre half when Leif bombed on, but he also got forward himself, overlapping beyond Burns. As a consequence, his 'positioning' was rarely that of an orthodox full back.

Yep. As Joe said on Blue Monday, Wrexham offered no attacking threats down our right in Saturday so Furlong had no defensive duties. But his attacking play is very limited. Against teams where we will dominate we should be playing Harry Clarke or Ashley Young.

I'd have had Greaves on for Wrexham - offers more attacking options than Kipre. With the lack of intent from Wrexham, Kipre's solidity at the back was unnecessary imo. | | | |
