Quietly having a very good season and probably deserves more praise.

Generally speaking our build up has been a lot better with him over Palmer.

Don't see that Palmer walks straight back in when fit, think he deserves to keep his place.

I don’t remember his footwork and passing being this good. It feels like he’s been working hard on it and it’s paying off.

Agree. He’s growing in confidence. Did I notice a cheeky little Cruyff turn tonight?

Agree. Ironically He’s having the ‘fortune’ of an injury that Hldaky benefited from our last Championship season

Nope, it’s Hladky all over again.

The only Muff in Town.

Apart from picking the ball up outside his area, but otherwise excellent.

Definitely. That's been noticeable since he's been back in. Number 1 for me now.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Disagree personally, was an obvious blemish. Great overall today no doubt and should keep his place.

*Lol sorry I thought you wrote that it was an odd post for him to make - double glasses fail.

His shirt to lose once Palmer's back. I think Walton has more upside personally

They are pointing out that this is an old thread and the post about having a blemish free game was referring to a different match.

He was excellent tonight, and is in no way a weak link in the team. Right now it's not a position that needs to be addressed in the transfer window.

I hope that we have a settled back four from now on as well. It was an excellent clean sheet against a team who scored.for fun in almost every match.

Walton has always been there when we need him, such a loyal servant to the club, and has never let us down.

Re back 4, Greaves bound to play Wednesday

He's a much better keeper then Haldky. Not that Haldky deserved to be dropped of course.

He’s gaining confidence by the game, I’m happier he is starting than Palmer. However, I also appreciate that Palmer is a very decent Championship keeper. I think we can safely say we are well stocked in the goalkeeper department for this level.

Kept us in it today. Made 3 or 4 great saves
1
Walton on 19:27 - Dec 6 with 578 views_CliveBaker_

He can be very happy with his performances. I think that’s 9 games he’s been in the side, 4 clean sheets and 6 conceded. I don’t look at any of them and think he’s at fault tbh, he’s made some superb saves in that time too. I like the way he commanded his 6 yard box today on a number of those aerial balls, he’s flapped at 1 or 2 in recent weeks but generally been really solid.

Undroppable when Palmer is finally fit

Agree. Very good since he came in. Decisive today.

Think he should keep the shirt even when Palmer fully fit.
