Slightly jealous of that.
South of Heaven and Reign in Blood are thrash metal masterpieces.
It was right up there with the best gigs I've ever seen. They were so good. Played just over an hour, no encore, just a blistering set from start to finish. Finsbury Park is a really good venue too.

The BBC Symphony Orchestra performing Stravinsky's The Song of the Nightingale, Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto in E minor (Augustin Hadelich violin soloist), Anthony Davis' Tales (Tails) of the Signifying Monkey and R. Strauss's Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the BBC Proms series.
Overdue something to be honest.
Didn't realise classical music concerts counted!
Anyway, dunno if you'd call it a gig, but had forgotten I went to Nitin Sawhney at Leeds Metro Uni, November 2008. Absolutely magical.
The Last Dinner Party with my daughter last Sunday. I've had an epic year for gigs. The last one I went to that was my choice was Get Down Services at the electric ballroom. They were bloody amazing.
