| Was that fun or not? 23:10 - Dec 10 with 1418 views | Cheltenham_Blue | I'm struggling to know, can someone tell me please? **In all seriousness, I can see us winning 4 on the bounce before we go to Millwall. | |

Me too. Interesting that the crowd was less anxious today. While not perfect it always felt under control today, letting them have the ball in areas which didn’t do us harm, defending well and breaking quicker and more often.
| Was that fun or not? on 23:16 - Dec 10 with 1335 views | FrimleyBlue | It was such an un km ipswich like game yet probably one of our most composed and satisfying championship games. We probably got so used to 3 2s. Late goals. Quick fire attacks that we take a lot of calm patient play as slow boring football when its not its just sensible football. But its definitely one of those where we feel good because we won and we dont know if we would have played the same way and jayden not scored but Im certain if it was a 0-0 id have probably felt a bit flat by it. But thats on me. | |

| Was that fun or not? on 23:23 - Dec 10 with 1280 views | cressi | What pleases me is two clean sheets on the bounce so much better keep a settled back 4 is the only way you get a understanding. | | | |
| Was that fun or not? on 23:30 - Dec 10 with 1223 views | ArnoldMoorhen | I really liked the way that we deliberately drew them onto us to set them up for the counter-attack. We have the players to play counter attacking football, and we broke quickly and with intent. There were some lovely moments of individual skill. More importantly so many players were on the same wavelength. Kipre seemed to win everything that came his way. Matusiwa read the game brilliantly, today. He was just always in the right position I like him being paired with Taylor. Walton made two very good saves. Clean sheets are here again! A month ago I thought that we needed to be in for a keeper during the January window. We now have a settled defence and a keeper in very good form. He has earned the spot, and I don't think we should bring in another keeper, now. It wasn't a 3-0 (although it could have been) but it was a really satisfying performance. Being able to see out a 1-0 is a skill we will need if we get back into the Premier League. | | | |

Whilst I would like to see a consistent team selection, KM was damned either way. Keep the same team (more or less) and don't win = "Why didn't you freshen it up?" Change the team and don't win = "Why did you change it?" Still, that's what he's paid the big bucks for.

The crowd were good tonight, especially North Stand as you’d expect. The game fun? Not really, but it was interesting, competitive and enjoyable. And what a goal. It was worth the entrance money alone. I said in the autumn that we looked 80% there. For me that’s up to 90%. As was said on Radio Suffolk by Mick Mills and a caller, playing much of the same team helped. Good minutes applause for David Best. I notice the hardy Stoke supporters applauded to - well done them.

Think the two games in 4 days with the same XI (minus 1) dictated the way we played which was far more controlled and less frenetic than it can be. Obviously the early goal helped with that but we kept our defensive shape superbly marshalled by the skipper. I think we would have really struggled legs wise if we had to chase the game, for once the chips fell in place for us.

| Was that fun or not? on 06:44 - Dec 11 with 667 views | Blue_Heath | Great we got 3 points, very pleased with another clean sheet, had Azon got that 2nd it may have gone on to become 'fun'. I'd use another f word this time thankfully functional rather than frustrating as has been the case in a number of games. | |

Some really nice link up at times, particularly between Nunez & Egeli, which is something we’ve not seen enough of this season. Would’ve been nice to get another goal or 2 but it wasn’t for the want of trying.

If Jaden hadn't scored it would've been a different game. Equally if Azon had scored it would also have been a different game. You can't just hypothetically remove the winning goal and say it would've been a flat 0-0, it's not as simple as that.

Hence why I didnt say it was simple as that and I put i dont know if... Without the philogene goal that first half was similar to many other recent first halfs. But for me because we had scored that early goal the way MY mind saw the game became a different emotion because we were 1-0 up. Had it been 0-0 and had we played the same way the whole half like we did and we went in 0-0 i know myself id have been disappointed witb the slowness. But as I said thats on me. Goals change games and goals changes emotions.

You're still missing the point. "Without the philogene goal that first half was similar to many other recent first halfs" - but without the Philogene goal it's a different game. The first half most likely wouldn't have been like that at all, we may well have gone at them more, Stoke may have had more chances on the break etc. etc. The Philogene goal enabled us to settle early and be controlled rather than chase things too much. You can't just remove such a vital part and say "if everything else stayed the same..." Well you can, but it would be utterly pointless.

Not missing a point. Youre just diving into something that doesn't need to be discussed more than a simple reply I made to the op. Was a personal thought that was it. Have a good day.

| Was that fun or not? on 14:47 - Dec 11 with 31 views | _CliveBaker_ | I enjoyed it. TBH I just enjoy being at PR, on a Saturday or under the lights in the week, familiar faces and catching up with people. No VAR, no getting humped 4-0 or barely seeing your team with the ball. Just 2 honest sides having a go at each other as football should be. This is what we took comfort from on relegation, the prospect of games coming thick and fast at this time of year, Stoke on a Tuesday, anyone being able to beat anyone else. Its by far the best league as a paying supporter and as fans we should just enjoy the journey and not worry about the destination. There's no room for nerves, the worst that can happen is we let a goal in or lose a game of football. Just enjoy it and back the team, while they've got our badge on their chest that's all we need to do. | | | |

Credit to their fans, decent poke on a Tuesday night just before Christmas, and at the best part of £40 a pop. They were in decent voice for periods of the game. Proper fans, proper club. Good luck to them.
