He has excellent pedigree but he's 34 and quite injury prone, would cost a decent wedge (in wages) and would expect to be starting every week even though he probably doesn't have the fitness or attributes these days to play the way we need our number 9 to play. It's one of those that sounds appealing on paper maybe but I don't think it's a gamble worth taking. |  |
