Don’t know why they are upset. The original gentleman’s agreement to Sam going was he was going abroad, the very next window he is back in the same league. Had Ipswich known that they might have got a fee for him but it happens and we move on. You are right. It happens in the real world too, of course.
I don’t know quite why they’re getting so upset about it. Funny lot. They’ve gained £3m and saved a wage on a bloke who’ll be gone in a few months anyway. It’s not as if they are threatened with relegation.
