| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 16:37 - Feb 21 with 1902 views | Smoresy | He does. It's a weakness of his imo. But I'm not sure that was a clear example of it, struck with venom on first viewing. Would (not) like to see again. And another very disappointing goal. | | | |
| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 16:40 - Feb 21 with 1824 views | stiff_talking | Walton has had a disastrous game. Beaten on near post twice, should have been sent off, and failed to come for 6 yard header for the corner. Taylor also had a very poor game. Neil should have started. | | | |
| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 16:41 - Feb 21 with 1813 views | Kieran_Knows | He’s dreadful. That corner just there as well? If he stands there, he catches the ball. He’s dived for no reason and dived under it. So sh!t. | |

| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 16:43 - Feb 21 with 1766 views | Kievthegreat | Yes, but the 3rd goal is not a good example. The deflection means he can't possibly get himself into a good position. | | | |

Was thinking the same. Seemed to be an odd reflex reaction

Of all the players who under-performed today, Taylor was not one of them. He, Matusiwa, Mehmeti and Azon are the only ones who put in a shift. Edited to say that I agree totally about Walton though. [Post edited 21 Feb 17:21]

Not sure i agree with that on Taylor or Neil. Taylor was decent and involved in two of our goals. We looked a much worse team when Neil came on for him, and tbh I'm pretty underwhelmed with Neil so far.

| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 17:24 - Feb 21 with 1522 views | mrshallisfit | O'Shea is light years short of a proper Captain and centre-back in Premier League. Light years away. | | | |
| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 17:39 - Feb 21 with 1463 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | His run of clean sheets was slightly overblown I think, easy to stand at the north stand when we have 80% possession. He can get beaten from anywhere it appears. Really good game for Cov at home outside of that he’s pretty average. Decent in the air when not under pressure but concedes questionable goals for me. | |

And on the rare occasion he does he’ll just palm the ball straight into the danger zone. Poor at claiming crosses, average at best on the ball. Not sure why some people seem to rate him

I got laughed at when I said neither him or Palmer were good enough for a promotion chasing team last summer but was told ‘they’ll be fine’. They’re both cr4p. Why on gods earth we didn’t try for Rushworth having been interested previously is beyond me. He is miles better in every aspect of his game compared to our 2. [Post edited 21 Feb 18:41]

His parrying is criminal. Cost us about 5/6 goals this season.

I still stand by muric should have been our no.1 this season Km has come out and publically defended hirst. He should have done the same for muric. Who imo would have loved this season and not having prem strikers down his throat each week.

True, but there are still some keeping basics that the outfield players can’t affect. I don’t think Walton’s terrible, but I’m not convinced he’s the best fit.

| Walton gets beaten at the near post too often on 00:58 - Feb 22 with 911 views | armchaircritic59 | If the defence do what they are paid to do, it wouldn't come down to that. Calamitous defending. You'd expect better in non league. One long ball time and time again over the top and we're in trouble, match after match. Sure the keeper might look at himself in the replays he'll undoubtedly see, but it should be stopped before it gets that far. | | | |

We did 1 is on the bench the other is playing outstandingly in Italy. can’t start At Watford surely? K Moore and BroAdy know our patterns positions and they are better than what we have?????weirdly!

Broady is not better than what we have Mehetmi, Jaden, Clarke, Nunez all have more goal contributions. Moore is better than our striker I agree
