Don't make me laugh. Should've changed it at half time. Same thing week after week. Hopefully somehow we can win 1-0

Results have been good but, considering the calibre of player at the club's disposal, performances have not been to the level they really should be. And whilst points are the key thing, good performances increase the likelihood of good results. We didn't get away of long periods of flatness against Leicester and Stoke. We did today but need to improve for the final part of the season.

Good..... that means we've won. Still dont think he has lived up to the hype this season though to be honest...not with this squad in a poor championship.

You'd be better off holding your hands up, fella. A bonus being you'd also drop the shovel.

Funny to believe that some think a premier league will want him in the summer. Absolutely zero chance of that. Been found out and hasn’t a clue how to rectify it.

You aren’t allowed to criticise him on here. But games like today show he hasn’t a clue how to setup or change it up to get a result against these sorts of teams.

We did get a result though. It was 0-2.
I don't expect you'll be back to this thread though.

It's funny how many people know better than McKenna and yet never hold their hands up when it is clear McKenna's approach gets the result.

No. Look at this season and all those games we've lost or dropped points. Some dreadful performances. Today we struggled to break down a team who haven't won for an eternity. Egeli is constantly played out of position, same times for subs whether its working or not. Tell me im wrong and why?

"all those games we've lost or dropped points"

We're unbeaten in 6, having won 4 of them. Just acknowledge that you've got it wrong maybe?

You’re trying your best to deflect from your OP which is perfectly understandable. Just hold your hands up, say that you overreacted and move on.

His point is that we were Premier League (forget hopeless in it), spent 10s of millions on players (forget we had largely a League 1 squad before we spent that) and should therefore be beating everyone in this division and thrashing the bottom 6 home and away every time.

I bet we'd happily swap places with Coventry, despite their defeat today.

We're in a good position, but these performances will catch up with us before long. Click into gear, and we'll make things more comfortable for ourselves.

Always best to wait to the final whistle before soiling the trousers.

People will never learn and I sense with some of them their hatred of the team and people at the club is so great that they want us to lose. Weird.

We are winning without Nunez and Philogene (or drawing when the decisions have gone against us). If they both come back fit and firing we should be fine. One of Davis' and Kipre's banned matches out of the way. Two big games coming up.

Although it will lead to a pile up at the end of the month, with three away games in a row, at this point I'm pleased Southampton has been postponed until the end of April.

Egeli is 19 mate. Moved to a new country and new level of intensity. He's been a player of important moments but understandably struggled to impact games consistently. That's really understanble. He's got a wand of a foot and some fantastic attributes. He will need to put it all together and develop.

But even with all that he's scored 4 really important goals for us. Plenty of established prem wingers have struggled. Mcateer has struggled more. It's a hard role and Burns has the understanding of it down to a tee. Egeli will be a much better player in 12 months but he only gets there if we are patient with him.

I think weirdly he might even look better in the prem with the less frantic nature of it (that's maybe a bold call....).

We have a weird af fanbase, but i'm not sure we're alone in that - Cov fans wanted Lampard gone a few weeks ago for example.

Why does everything have to be so hyperbolic and over the top these days? I expect all our fans who are fully behind the team will admit this season hasn't been perfect or as dominant as we would have liked and were frustrated at our inability to break Wednesday down until late on today.

I like to think 95% of us are in that category whilst also supporting the team all the way. Perhaps that 5% has always been around, even pre-internet.

Look at Wednesdays results they don’t get thrashed but lose, they are tight games teams often score late. Today was as expected.

All teams in the championship drop points or lose. How is that a surprise to you ?

Likewise one is allowed to praise things when it's going okay, or when we have good results.

A cursory glance at your posting history this season shows you only turn up to post negative stuff about how we should be smashing everyone cos of the money and we're hopeless. So it's quite a thin posting history. QED dear boy.

We were crap today but got the result, though you'll never be able to credit our manager with that. Pretty blinkered stuff.

Egeli is playing the position that he's so far played for pretty much his entire senior footballing career. It's not where he's likely to end up playing long term but it's easier to adapt and learn your trade playing from the flank than it is in the centre. We did similar with Omari.

We struggled to break down a team who have often been hard to break down this season, they've dug in well in a lot of games and lost points late on when they tire and don't have the quality on the bench. We still won 2-0 though and had other good chances. We have had some poor performances this season but the stats have us as the second best attacking side in the league, the second best defensively, and overall the best or second best when combining attacking and defensive stats. So we deserve to be right up there and if anything we should be a few points better off than we are, especially taking account of some of the decisions we've had against us.

Of course we all wanted to piss the league but the Championship is tough and it was never going to that easy. Dry your eyes, put on some dry pants, and get behind the team for the last 9 games because we're right in the thick of the automatic promotion chase and we need fans to actually support the team rather than piss and moan constantly.
