Play saints midweek… if they win that they’ll have a shot. Which is kinda crazy.

No way; too much traffic.
Dangerous game for us in a few weeks though; they have a good system that's working for them atm.

In this league? You can't rule it out, can you?

As much as I loathe the vomit wearing w*nkers, a return of the East Anglian derby in the Premier would be awesome!

Portsmouth v Derby is big on Monday. If Derby win that, it's another team with a cushion over Norwich, especially if they then lose to Southampton. If the Rams lose then it puts them in sight.

I think the final two positions will be Wrexham and Southampton personally. But if Norwich do beat Southampton, they're in contention.

1 point per game. That’s a big ask.

They have 10 matches left and are 12 points off them. There are 9 teams they need to overhaul.

If Wrexham go at their current ppg, they need to win all 10 to match Wrecham's tally.
If Southampton do, they would be a point short even if they did win all 10.
On Hull's current form, they would be OK losing one and drawing another but would need 8 wins.

At least it's something like that. So if we beat them we end their play off hopes!

Left too much to do but they are a completely different side. The derby should be a cracker which will be horrible and hard to watch whatever happens haha.

They have to overhaul six teams, rather than nine. I think they'll manage to overtake Watford, Swansea and possibly Derby easily enough on current form. Birmingham have only won one of their last five, and drew at home after leading against ten men today.

The big issue for them is Wrexham and Southampton's current form. Hull are slipping but might have too many points ahead on the board for Norwich to catch them, particularly if the Saints win midweek.

No, but if they trip us up into the play offs and finish the season full of confidence to take into next year it will look like a successful season for them.

They have recruited an excellent manager unfortunately, who is getting a tune out of some average players. Our best hope is that a bigger club poach him, next season they could be a force.

I think if it was 6 teams in the play-offs this year, they would get there.

The only thing I will say is, they are playing brilliantly, yes, but also with a lot of freedom and very little pressure. They don't have the jeopardy of the collywobbles other sides have.

I expect them to be strong next season mind.

9 matches and 9 points now, leaving matters to goal difference. They're in 12th place but with a game in hand on two teams narrowly above them.

I don't see it either but they have made up 11 points on Hull over their past 9 games; now 12 points behind them with a game in hand. Beat Southampton on Wednesday and they'd go just 3 points behind that team, having each played 38. Their current pace should see them clear everyone else outside the top 6, with Southampton the serious challenger on present form and Wrexham the biggest stumbling to both. Because if Wrexham continue apace then as you say, that's one team Norwich won't catch.

If they’re still in play for the playoffs then Southampton are in play for autos.

Luckily both have left it a little too late.

Poll: Ok gut feeling then, promotion?

No chance.

They need to make up 9 points on Wrexham in 9 games.

To get to 75 points, which looks likely to be the requirement this season, would need 8 wins from 9 games.

Thank goodness this top 8 play-off plan isn't in force this year. Otherwise I think I would be feeling a little sick at the possibility...
