You do all realise Millwall are a very, very good team? 14:35 - Mar 21 with 2225 viewsWallingford_Boy

It’s not a bad point!

We know we struggle against physical sides and Millwall are the best at that game.

We almost lost, so not a bad point.

RIP Sir Bobby

They were a lot better than I expected, especially second half

You probably need to win your home games against your promotion rivals if you want to go up. Have you seen our April? They literally brought on Barry Bannon which shows the levels we should be at against them tbh. Took their chance and shut us down. Disappointing.

Yep. While I appreciate not winning is always disappointing, the comments from a few are mind boggling - it’s either purposefully trolling or a bit thick.

Clear 2 points dropped for me after that first half. They weren’t a very, very good team at that point and we wasted far too many good positions. Even in the second half we could have still killed them off. As it worked out, yes they deserved a point and they showed why they’re doing well this year.

They are certainly horribly effective at playing to their strengths. They tried to play football against us in the first half and couldn’t match us, changed their system at half time and battered us physically into submission in the second.

I agree that it was a good point in the end, said to the chap next to me on 80 mins is take the point today.

They weren't in the first half, we completely dominated and unfortunately didn't make that pressure count. It's a good point in the grander scheme of things but I'm left a bit frustrated

Definitely a good result without Davis, Kipre, Nunez and Philogene (even though he came on, he clearly isn't fully fit).

We only managed to beat Southampton at home, of our rivals last time we got promoted from this league!

Seeing as we didn't win, today has been almost as good as it could've been.

Pretty poor result after being 1-0 up at half time after dominating the first half. Only for them to make a couple of tweaks and then totally outplay us.

Blah, Boro will figure it out eventually if we don’t capitalize. Usual suspects talking like Millwall are the year 1 parachute club when they were 1-0 and not in the game. Clear 2 points dropped.

Millwall are not a great side. Effective lumps and a talent or two. Much the same as us. Bang average in an average league. Have the results and the table.

Not really. They were all over us and unlucky not to win. Unfortunately for us, McKenna can’t react to in game changes.

We did have chances in thst second half, couple of wrong decisions at crucial times, fine margins and all that.. just pleased Mboro only drew, that was a bonus as everyone expected them to beat Blackburn..
Today could have been worse..

They're not a very, very good team. They're the kind of physical well organised side that are ten a penny at this level, they've just rode their luck and maintained some momentum. That's not a game we should have dropped points in. Really disappointing from us.

I thought they were better than that. Yes, they played a much as others in that league do, but they were a very big team, fit, and tremendously well organised. They had to hang in there in the first half and showed a lot of spirit in doing so.

They may not be as skilled as some sides, but I can’t think of a better organised one.

Disappointing yes, but we didn’t lose. That against rival teams is the key.

Disagree. It’s not a good point at home after being ahead at half time. Millwall deserved the point after a good tactical change from their manager. But it’s disappointing we didn’t turn up second half and there seemed to be no plan to counter their change. That’s also disappointing.

Don't let facts get in the way of a poor argument! How many times did we beat Plymouth or Sheffield Wednesday when we came up from L1....oh...yes.

Can't see Cov going up with their record against us either 🤔

Turns out that argument is absolute nonsense.

This. It turned on a tactical change, which we failed to counter. First half Millwall looked awful. 1-0 up at home against a team struggling, we should have been able to push on win. We didn’t. Disappointing.

They are very effective at what they do. Defend for their lives. Creat havoc from set plays and can counter ok.

We are and we're clearly a better footballing side but anyone expecting anything but a tough game today is on another planet.

Thought we did enough to win the game without completely dominating. But at the end with their big chance a draw is fair enough. And we remain in a good place.
