I *hope* there'll be some kind of explanation and contrition about lack of judgement, at some point soon. I'm more annoyed about the distraction and potential for further disruption at a time we are pushing for an end of season promotion run. Show must go on, for me. |

Have a look at pete81s post 25 March 00.05. He describes work actually done in the Community. It’s not to be dismissed lightly. Real people doing real stuff. Rainbow Laces? I presume you are referring to Sam Morsy. I’ve seen nothing to club to suggest that that the majority within the club didn’t support this.
| If he stays... is that genuinely it for some of you. on 17:52 - Mar 27 with 900 views | CopfordBlue | It won’t be for me. I was here before him and I’ll be here after him. It’s evident how deeply this has impacted some and over the course of the last few days I’ve appreciated them sharing how and why it has cut so deep. Against this my next comment may seem shallow but going to games is one of the real highlights of my week. A chance to spend time with friends, forget about work, put the sorry state the world is in right now to the back of my mind and enjoy myself. One pillock with a huge ego and woeful judgement isn’t going take that away from me. Ipswich Til I Die. | |

Its that simple for me. The club have lied to the fans..

| If he stays... is that genuinely it for some of you. on 17:56 - Mar 27 with 883 views | NBVJohn | No. The events of this week are shameful, but like thousands of others I was here before him and I'll be here long after. Football was ruined years ago by sky money, super inflated wages and TV endorsement of cheating as 'finding a way to be a winner' and a ridiculous re-writing of history as to what makes supporters tick - I don't gurn at my TV whilst ordering a pizza to be delivered at half time and hysterically calling a phone in for an argument with Robbie Savage. I don't have an up to date shirt. As a young man I worked abroad and endured the nick name 'hooligan' for years. I've never been in a fight at a football match, that's never been my motivation. All of this embarrasses me but I'm still here. | | | | Login to get fewer ads
| If he stays... is that genuinely it for some of you. on 18:03 - Mar 27 with 857 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | Depends on how it impacts on the fanbase. If away games turn in to constant Farage chants from opponents fans with some of our fans responding in pro stuff, then fights in the stand and then more pro Farage chants and then anti Farage chants. I think I would stop going to away games. That is my worry that this will have irreparable damage among the fanbase. Which in itself is the problem. This is what Farage does and it should have been obvious to those at the top that this is what would happen. A completely divided fanbase in a time where the fans were already a bit tetchy. I really am feeling pretty bleak about it. Footballer should be a uniter. Not whatever this is. That is on Ashton. | |

As soon as this forum 'blew up' in outrage the Norwich based media jumped all over it. All this in-fighting has done is given publicity to the very man you're protesting against, and it's all for free. Forage played you and the club like a cheap fiddle.

| If he stays... is that genuinely it for some of you. on 12:57 - Mar 27 by homer_123 | If he stays - it shows that, as a Club, we are not interested in living our values. We 'say one thing but do another'. In essence, success at all/any costs. That's not the Ipswich I know and it would undo all (in my opinion) of the work that the Club has done to rebuild it's links with fans and the wider community. I thought, foolishly maybe, we were better. I'm going to deliberate more before making a decision but that is the first time in 50+ years as a Town fan that I am even thinking of the possibility. I haven’t been stressed by this at all this week APART from the over top reaction by some of you. AND if your giving up your sits then great as I only want positive Ipswich fans at Birmingham game and no whingers please ruining my support for the players (and the club) . Everyone I know who is Ipswich fan and spoke too are really not bothered about what happened at the beginning of week. | | | |

Problem? Pointing out that this news story would have been a lot smaller without the outrage is a fact. Other politicians have probably had a tour but raised very few column inches. Why does this give you reason to sarcastically disbelieve my political affiliations ?

Values and how we treat each other, how we go about what we do define us. As a Club we have clearly espoused values and an ethos. I believe they are important. Part of our success since MA has come in is to do with what the Club has done to rebuild li ks with fans and the wider community. How we are successful is as important as being successful.

Well said homer. Same for me. Saying goodbye to almost 60 years of commitment to the club is something I never, ever, thought would happen. But I can't reconcile it. I'm struggling.

Jesus wept. One of the reasons people rightly dislike Farage is that he's empowered people like you to feel it's okay to post something like this. Be a better human, ffs.
