Not a bad punt that, to be fair. It seems obscene to have Truss anywhere other than in last place, but I suppose you have to give her credit for self-destructing in a month. Thatcher, despite being clearly the worst for destroying the fabric of the country in a fundamental way, did at least have a personal integrity which would lift her above several of the more recent irresponsible arses.

I think Thatcher had such a massive negative impact on society that I had to put her last. Truss was comically bad but her influence was short lived. [Post edited 9 Apr 8:50]

Yep, pretty much what I would have done. Although maybe Thatcher could be lower - Truss was so spectacularly bad, she last a very short time, so may be she could swap places with Maggie.

Not Sure about Cameron though, ineffectual and, to my mind, responsible for the Brexit vote, a vote which shouldnβt have happened.

The legacy of that disastrous Kwarteng budget is still being felt. Not only did it damage economic stability, it also induced a great nervousness about upsetting the bond markets in politicians.

I like that. Iβve issues with Blair and Thatcher as being deserving for the top three, but I suppose this is a βrank in order of least worseβ exercise. I think Iβm also going to borrow βtoo rigid, lacks clear direction, but not vastly incompetentβ for my tombstone, thanks!

Similar to how I ranked them but I take issue with your description of May as being βmostly harmlessβ. A throughly dreadful person and PM who promoted much of the racism and xenophobia that pollutes politics now.
| Last 10 Prime Ministers - on 09:14 - Apr 9 with 2130 views | DarkBrandon | Iβm really struck how Brownβs reputation has been rehabilitated. He was (unfairly) viewed as a fairly laughable figure at the end of his time in charge. He was absolutely instrumental in averting a global depression after the financial crisis though.
