| If McKenna leaves 12:21 - Apr 15 with 3859 views | pingu67 | Who would you like to see come in? If were in the prem i'd go for someone like steve cooper if possible If were in the championship id look at someone like john eustace or john mousinho | | | | |
| If McKenna leaves on 12:22 - Apr 15 with 2740 views | BouncebackIpswich | Thomas Frank. I'd also like somebody who will be able to stand up to Mark Ashton and not be overwhelmed by his personality and ego. Presumably McKenna does in a quiet but steely way | |

Yes, McKenna staying and Ashton leaving would be ideal, but it seems extremely unlikely.

Which is why i gave alternatives dependant on the league we'll be in
| If McKenna leaves on 12:40 - Apr 15 with 2559 views | Libero | Assuming he doesn't get the United job- Michael Carrick would be the ideal replacement, although I suspect he may well end up managing Spurs in the Championship. | | | |

I really only care if we blow this chance or not to go up or not, that will determine a lot of the clubs future because next year this league is going to be a different animal.

That's a really good shout. I wonder if he'd be willing to leave Lincoln though

Certainly doing an impressive job at lincoln. I can't say i know an awful amount about him or Lincoln aside from the fact they are going up as champions Without knowing anything about him, would there be any rusk of another paul hurst type appointment?
| If McKenna leaves on 13:01 - Apr 15 with 2398 views | ElderGrizzly | Steve Cooper in the PL would be one of the most uninspiring appointments ever. I'd imagine we'd go for someone with a bit more experience than a McKenna style appointment straight into the PL, but someone who matches his style/ethos. Frank would be an interesting shout, but his whole thing is about pragmatism and more direct football which we'd struggle with. If Ashton is true to his word, we'd probably already know who that next manager is too. He always talked about having his short-list of replacements. [Post edited 15 Apr 13:02]

Just think that cooper has experience of keeping forest up and was doing a decent job at lcfc who then decided to go in another direction (down)

Hugely unimpressed with Rosenior, even allowing for Chelsea being a never ending circus.

25 games unbeaten, including 21(!) wins in a league where they have the 17th highest budget would suggest not. He's been allowed to build over a period of time, including some sticky patches when some of the crowd started to turn on him last season. That bit sounds familiar.......
