Just have an inkling. They have only beaten one team (West Ham) since March after a fantastic first half of the season. Loads of draws. Very reliant on Thiago. Scored 22 next best is 7. If they lose him (likely) and don't replace his goals, I feel they might struggle. Having said that they do have a knack of unearthing gems! |
I have been saying that the likes of Wolves, Palace, Bournemouth, Fulham & Brentford are only 2 or 3 bad signings from relegation. Brentford had proven that they can replace with as good or better, so maybe a bit hopeful there. I still say Palace and Fulham will probably be our best bet. |  |

Leeds allegedly not happy with Farke, if they sack him after a poor run and get it wrong they could be one? Can't decide on Sunderland, they've turned a corner of late but hopefully second season syndrome for them, Palace if they get manager wrong and sell a few.
It's gonna be a helluva an ask to stay up with 40 points rather than 35 now looking the norm.
Shoot me down but I'd be happy with 4 home wins, 30 something points and 3rd bottom which would show progression but obviously hoping we can finish at least one place higher.

It really isn’t about how any of the other 19 teams do but about us getting enough points to stay up.

Shame West Ham didn't find enough to get over the line really (assuming they don't now). They're a mess by Premier League standards, they don't seem to have any real strategy and just seem a bit out of touch with what's needed to succeed in the premier league these days. Couple that with the disgruntled fanbase and they could've served up a 35 point season next year. Spurs will sort themselves out unfortunately, De Zerbi will have them mid table if he's trusted to do the job.
We'll almost certainly need to finish above who we go up with, the one other might be Palace if they don't get the appointment right. In poor form, a lot of change expected. If they lose Wharton and Mateta and don't recruit well they could potentially be down there. Maybe Man City will finally get a 50 point deduction and Maresca can take them down. |  | | |
