Yep, no surprise is it, just have no creativity at all in open play and trying to go toe to toe with Brazil when they needed a point was just plain daft imo, a Ghana all men beyond the ball performance could have at least given them half a chance of that. |  | | |

It seems to me to be a ridiculous format which allows teams' fate to be dragged out over days like this with such complicated scenarios. Football is best when football is simple. Only 16 teams qualified then, and they missed out on the last 8 in 1974 and 1978 on goal difference, not losing a game in 1974.
That was the time when Scotland could claim to be a decent team, given England didn't qualify for either tournament, but they just don't produce the players these days.
And this time, giving a stupid early goal away against two teams in the top 10 was just madness, as was going head-to-head with Brazil. |  | | |
