I think Lukic and Florentino could form a nice little partnership. People might point to a lack of creativity and I don't disagree, but having 2 tidy, industrious ball winners in there at a good age, that 'double pivot' could work well. I'd like to see us add an alternative option and think we will, but he's a player who will kick us on a level. He'll be 30 by the start of the season, but this is a good pick up in my opinion. More PL experience is vital.

An interesting one as I was hoping we were moving away from the double pivot, with a true 8 coming in.

Don't think he's quite the 'anchor' that people are making him out to be either - still think we need a proper '8' in there but he's a better user of the ball than Matusiwa and Florentino. |  |

If we are often going to play 2 then 3 seems the right amount.
Don't think Azor will be going anywhere, he might also not be fit for the start of the season.

Not sure one would be necessary. We have Nunez, Taylor and Humphreys who can do that if called upon. It’s more important this season that we’re compact and hard to break down. Assuming we have a front four of Ueda, Maeda, Enciso and Fatawu, thats enough quality to do our attacking work (which will be minimal as a newly promoted team). |  |
