Out of them I'd probably go with Drogba for us, think he'd be perfect.

Jurgen Klinsmann from his Tottenham days, with the sliding dive celebration. Sigh... TWTD...

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, never afraid to put his foot or head in where it hurts, annoys every defender and if all else fails happy to headbutt an opposition player.

for this team now, with a 1 man up top system, Drogba ever day of the week

Wayne Rooney- an excellent finisher as well as a creator.

I think that because he was so unselfish on the pitch a lot of people forget just how great he was.

Also incredibly hardworking - exactly the type of player we need.

We'd need to change the rest of the team around him to make the most benefit of his class.

An injury-free Scowcroft.
But before him, Mariner every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

John wark when he still had his legs. The man knew how to put a header into the net. Something we have lacked for ages. love o'shea but how many times have I read 'glanced his head over the bar or direct to the keeper.

He was scared to death of Allan Hunter. Pat Jennings let AH know before an England N Ireland game.

Thereafter, whenever Hunter went up against Chivers he’d tell him in the tunnel before the game what he was going to do to him.

The player I’d have up there in their prime is Paul Mariner. Not only a brilliant player, but as hard as nails too.
