Poster J Dozzell asserts that Enciso had the greatest control that he’d personally seen. I’m not sure that we’ve had a thread recently or maybe at all that focused on that specific attribute. For us, nobody comes close to Frans. Top players were left unknotting their legs virtually every game.
The modern player is truly excellent but quality of pitches, kit and no tackles allowed means their life is somewhat easier. |  | | |

Thijssen for me. But the ball wasn't zipped into him at the same pace they do today. For a first touch, Enciso is as good as I've ever seen. Ironically, Jason Dozzell also had an incredible first touch.
Those are the top three for me, but Jaden is right up there just behind. |  | | |
