Team to start next season 13:09 - Jun 21 with 5635 viewswrightsrightglove

Need a new left back and centre back and probably a right back depending on how much faith PL has in Donacien but I think that line up works and would do fairly well in league 1. Obviously the new centre back / Wolfie will have to take the place of Chambers for the first games. Edwards arguably ahead of Lancaster as well depending on how their pre-season goes.

Good start shoving Washington out of position. If we're playing that formation then Edwards is in his place, the rest is probably spot on although I doubt Donacien will be the starting right back.

Emmanuel proven at L1 level, and I suspect Donacien will be good enough too. Very much doubt we will buy a new RB.

I also think Kenlock will play and do well, but we do need back up.

IF bishop is fit, he must play.

LANKESTER!!

I think Edwards will have a big season, just depends where he fits in.

I hate seeing team predictions that include players that don't even play for the club.

How can you miss Nolan and Bishop out?

Where would you fit them in? I'd like Bishop in certainly but I feel like in that line up, bishop rather than Downes would leave us defensively exposed.

Not to far off. I suspect we will see a new CB & LB this summer. As said above Bishop has to play in this team. He’s a cut above, as is Huws, but with massive fitness doubts.. does anyone know if he will be fit enough even to start in pre season?

No Judge?

That back four is giving me the scares.

Still impossible to say as i'm fairly sure we'll see a change in personnel before 3rd August.

With the soon to be departure of Bart i'd expect to see another keeper come in. I'm happy to go with Holy, but surely we can't rely on Przybek as a back up keeper with zero football league experience.

Can't see another CB coming in myself, as we have our skipper and Toto ably backed up by, in my eyes, potentially our brightest young talent in Woolfenden.

Kenlock is nailed on at LB, and rightly so, so i struggle to see your reasoning there.

Emmanuel is likely to be the first choice RB, although the likely departure, should anyone want him, of Donacien, may see a first choice RB come in.

I think Nolan is just ahead of Downes, although Lambert does rate him highly, as proven by him being given the set pieces prior to Judges arrival.

Washington doesn't play for us, and even if that signing does happen he won't be played on the left wing. You are more likely to see Dozzell or Bishop fill that spot, although i would imagine PL is trying desperately to bring in a left footed wide man. I do hope that he doesn't intend on shackling Judge in that role.

Lankester is a long way from match fit, so as you suggested i'd expect to see Edwards deservedly start the season on the right wing.

Being that we find ourselves in L1, and having to cut costs accordingly, i expect we'll see plenty of square pegs in round holes this season. Judge on the wing, Skuse at CB, that sort of thing.

So swapping Nsiala, whole career at league one level and a bang average season in the championship will make all the difference compared to Wolf?

Emmanuel already finished top half of league one.

Judge is injured.

Kenlock, fair enough, but who else should I chose from?

Silly old sod.

Just like last season, I fear a lot of people desperately hoping that our two main on-pitch leaders will be dropped this coming season are going to be sore disappointed.
Personally I can see Skuse getting phased out over the course of next season, but he'll be in the line up at Burton.

Holy
Emmanuel - Chambo - Toto/Wolfie - New LB
Downes - Skuse
Lankester - Nolan - Edwards
Norwood

As the season progresses, I'd expect to see Dozzer supplant Skuse, and the attacking midfield trio feature a returning Bish, Judge and, if he ever regains fitness, Huws.

I envisage our season very much being a goal-fest, potentially at both ends.

The experience of Nolan, Judge, Skuse and Chambo will be key.

We 100% need a new LB as Kenlock is simply not good enough.
