So, what is everyone drinking and what we putting on the virtual juke box?

I'll start with a very drinkable beer from a Suffolk brewery:

And a slightly pertinent song:

Seeings as our holiday to Cornwall in May might / might not happen, then a Doom Bar.

And as I was supposed to be seeing the Levellers tonight at UEA (should have been heading to the station about now), then One Way by the Levellers would do very nicely indeed.

Ta.

Currently drinking a random pale ale (bottle in kitchen so can't remember name) left over from Christmas.

Just ordered a couple of boxes from these. Well cheap and great beer. Recommended!

Forgot the jukebox. Currently listening to the new Soccer Mommy (I know, awful name) album.

Bottle of Merlot.

Anything by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, just for a change.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

Not heard the Mighty Mighty Bosstones in years. I suspect they date badly?

When we were on holiday in Bala, there was a cracking beer shop in the town. Doubled up as a bar at the back (loads on tap, must have been 20 lines) and a taster coffee table like arrangement at the front too. It was rather good. Appreciate it's a long way away from anywhere, but if anyone is passing... Ridiculous number of just Welsh beers - https://www.storibeers.wales/shop-page?field_product_tag_tid=36&field_wines_and_

Anyway, point is that they had loads of examples of beers from micro breweries like Burnt Mill. Lots of unfiltered extra hoppy goodness. All expensive of course, but rather nice.

I particularly enjoyed the stuff from Wild Horse (Llandudno) and Polly's (Mold) breweries. No idea if they're to be found elsewhere.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

There is a bar at Green Man festival that is a Welsh Beer festival. Must have 50 different beers there, which is ace considering most music festivals have a choice of Carling or Carlsberg.

I have a local beer shop that's about three minutes walk away. It's more expensive than supermarkets but has lots of random beers like that in so worth going to some of the time.

Only just finished work for the day, I seem to be half a (real) beer down already. Cornish Red Ale from M&s.

Both beer tents at FolkEast are prodigious, some people who hate folk music just go for the beer I think. I am especially impressed by the brews that come out of Grain brewery in the north of Suffolk, also like the Green Jack special they make for the festival. They haven't cancelled this years one yet:
