Someone I know on facebook has put £100 on "blacklivesmatter" as first goalscorer in a Prem game.
Apart from the fact it's a disgrace against the movement, how on earth would this work? Even if they have "blacklivesmatter" on the back of their shirts, that's not their name!
1. It's somebody on facetwit. You don't 'know' them at all. 2. They've said they've done it. 3. They haven't done it. 4. You've fallen for it. 5. You also fell for the joke price for sausage and mash. 6. Go and have a think about all of this. 7.
Of course it is. This is denigrating the movement.
I'd also point out the post before this one was "Police Lives Matter."
I have to say I'm not getting the 'police lives matter' thing at all. Was that a deliberate provocation or is he just a bit, extremely, pig-ignorant thick?
But the other thing about the shirts is innocent enough - it really does seem to be simple reference to the shirt 'names' and hedging one's bets.
It's not a great joke admittedly, and I can't see it winning many awards.
