What's happened to all of the on 19:06 - Oct 19 with 1841 views | Herbivore | Still here, and still have pretty significant reservations about Lambert whilst also being pleased that we've made a positive start to the season. Do you not think it'd be a bit odd for people to be calling for his head vocally after a decent start? In 2017/18 the Mick outers similarly went quiet when we were top after 4 or 5 games. Ultimately we all want what is best for Town and if Lambert can demonstrate over a lengthy period that he's much more competent than he's proved himself to be over the last 2 years then we'll all be happy. But at the moment we need to see how he does over a longer period than 6 pretty easy League 1 fixtures. [Post edited 19 Oct 2020 19:07]

Is it that outrageous to reserve judgement a bit when a mere 6 good games have followed the worst two seasons in our modern history?

5 good games. We were awful against MK Dons. In fairness we've been unconvincing for decent spells of the other 5 as well, but we're defending well and we only need a 20 minute good spell to put most sides away at this level.

Plus the first 45 mins this weekend was as bad as anything we've seen, Wigan was a bit ropey at times etc. Just Div 3 innit, not sure we should really relish too much either way. It's a crime they let us get down this far, every week we are here is an insult. Get it won, get it done, get in some proper identity, promote the youth, back to the good old days. Maybe even push it a bit and get back to the one's before Mick too.

What's happened to all of the "Lambert Out"ers? on 19:43 - Oct 19 with 1707 views | Dyland | They/we are still here, though even the most entrenched aren't currently clamouring for him to go, based on the consistent pattern of play and selections currently, and more importantly, who comes in and do we have any faith in Evans to get anyone better? He'd probably employ Megson ffs.

This season we haven't lost a game in the league we're in. And are top. Amended to placate the Morrissey fan boy. [Post edited 19 Oct 2020 19:48]

We've definitely lost games in Div 3. Stop making your name a lie.

What's happened to all of the on 19:48 - Oct 19 with 1683 views | NewcyBlue | As so many of you are rattled by my opinions by NewcyBlue 18 Oct 2020 13:24I don’t see Fishers as a bother at all.
Sometimes he posts stuff I agree with. Sometimes he doesn’t. He also watches us a hell of a lot more than I do.
We all see the game in different ways. For a measured opinion I usually look for Joe or PJH. Texters is good for a passionate opinion, wearing his heart on his sleeve. Fishers makes good points in some of his observations.
I certainly don’t disagree with him about Lambert not being the man for the job. We have a manager who is learning on the job at the moment. Who had to be told by the owner not to keep messing around with systems and personnel.
Which wouldn’t be much of an issue if it were somebody who was in their first season of the first job. But, Lambert was told to stop messing around at Villa. He’s had to be told here.
He’s not an inexperienced manager. Yet he seems to make decisions like one.
