Toto for POTS 13:25 - Apr 30 with 1511 views | chrismakin | Yes another thread but had to say it Whilst I understand why some are looking to vote for a random player. Even someone who has barely played for the first team. I would like to sensibly suggest Toto. He has out if all players shown a great attitude. Determination and also one of very very few who improved through the season. He has his limitations. But hes done the best he can all through the year and some of this goal line or last ditch blocks have saved many points this season. So my sensible suggestion for POTS is Toto Nsiala. Yes I do actually You want a random player who's played 5 minutes of first team football to be amongst them.. that makes no sense. End of day. Seasons been rubbish but they want to name a pots. For me Toto is a clear mile worthy more than any others.

Toto for POTS on 14:09 - Apr 30 with 1399 views | J2BLUE | We would be better off just scrapping the award for the year or boycotting the vote than voting for a random player. Nsiala not a bad call actually. I'd actually go for Chambers though. Most minutes in a decent defence and played out of position a lot. They are probably the only two candidates.

Defo between those 2. Toto pips it for me as he grew in confidence over the season and covered for chambers well when space left at RB

Three penalties given away, but how many goals saved by the numerous blocks he's made in our penalty area? Pretty sure he's well in credit. Listen to the commentary: "Good block by Toto" "Great block by Toto" etc.

Fair. I did find however with Wilson kenlock got him out of jail alot especially with crosses. But apart from that he was solid too.

Or Wilson. Defence has been sometimes fragile once breached, but generally pretty solid. 42% clean sheets (50% for just home games). [Post edited 30 Apr 2021 14:41]

Toto for POTS on 14:42 - Apr 30 with 1285 views | Ryorry | 'Player of the Year' poll does not specify which ITFC team selections may be made from. I therefore vote for Natasha Thomas, who actually realises where the goalposts are & what they are there for.

Remarkably, Wilson's 17 games this season has yielded 1.76 ppg. Appreciate it's a bit of a crude way of looking at it, and doesn't take account of opposition but 17 is a decent enough sample. Extrapolate that PPG over a season and it would probably have us 3rd. His presence has definitely coincided with our better results. He's been unspectacular, he's a bit of a 'blocker' and IMO a very average player, but that's what you need a bit of at this level, and he's certainly consistent.

Of course. Take his blocks away and we would have been in the relegation battle. He is one of the few players I want to be with us beyond this season.

What would the club do if Baggott or Nydam come out on top with the voting? Think they’d look to scrap the award for this season give it to someone in the community or something along those lines.

Half the time that's because he's missed a bouncing ball and is making a desperate bid to recover! In all seriousness, he has been pretty decent this season so if he wins it so be it. I think it'll depend on how much of a clear out we have whether he's hear next season, considering the is out of contract, albeit on an option.

Toto for POTS on 16:51 - Apr 30 with 1144 views | Swansea_Blue | That's a sensible call too. And that's about the fourth different player I've said that about, which sums us up really. I can't decide between: Wilson Toto Chambers Dozzell Outside shout for Flynn, as he's been getting back into some sort of form, just a bit quiet. There's also an argument for Judge. For all his faults, was a bundle of energy and endeavor (just not enough end product). I can't see us voting for a player who's just been let go though!

Toto for POTS on 16:57 - Apr 30 with 1133 views | belgablue | I went for Nsiala. Clearly has his limitations but has come back from so much criticism and shown a decent level of commitment that is distinctly lacking in almost every other player.
