Rhys Williams from Liverpool 19:36 - May 23 with 4544 viewsMullet

A few fans on twitter seem to be taking this tweet as an indicator he's coming here

Seen a couple tweeting him too. He was at Kidderminster last season so a loan to us wouldn't be totally out of the realms of possibility would it? Another young CB on loan a la McGuinness would worry me though.

I'd hope we weren't going to loan in players if at all possible.

Having 1 or 2 quality loan players is not an issue at all.

This bloke?

"Do you want to stay?"
"Why not? All that awaits me at home is a masturbating Welshman."

I remember spitting my Baileys out when I first heard that line.

Agree. But if he was quality then possibly he would never have gone to the National League North? The better the player the higher the level of their loan move.

Think that’s tongue-in-cheek isn’t it? Meaning they’ll be shipped out when new CBs are bought and VVD/Gomez are fit.

Doesn't always work out like that.

Leyton Orient and Harry Kane spring to mind.

I wasn't particularly referencing Rhys Williams, but I suspect he would be more than good enough having made 8 PL appearances this season.

I didn’t know that he’s made PL appearances. I should really look into these things properly before I let loose on the keyboard.

I would imagine he would be out of our league, as Klopp sang his praises in their 4-2 Man U win the other week.

On my long running FM save I got him in on loan for 3 seasons then eventually signed him as I got to the Prem in 4 years. He was a ***king beast for me on there. I'm in on that basis.

I didn't suggest he would come here. I merely said there's no problem with 1 or 2 quality loans.

I'd have thought so. Assume it was on a Facebook group given who messaged me. Although if he's 20 and they want 40 games under his belt next season, didn't Cook get Reece James in?

It's clearly some plonker taking the p*ss and suggesting they're both going to be dumped out to lower teams when they get players back fit or brought in.

Whilst I’m not treating the link too seriously this would fit into the one or two high quality loans that seems very sensible to me. My question would be is he better than Woolfenden? My hunch is yes. Would definitely be looking for an experienced left footed centre back to play alongside him - Murray from Dunfermline?

He looked pretty good on Sunday against Palace, should of scored mind you. He would fit in a decent Championship club for experience.
