I'm nervous about tomorrow........................ 14:48 - Nov 19 with 1545 views | BlueNomad | Not sure if its going to be the best day of the season (so far) or a massive flattener. Just hope its the former.

I'm nervous about tomorrow........................ on 15:14 - Nov 19 with 1468 views | itfc_bucks | Wycombe, I genuinely expected a tonking. Especially after they went a goal up. Tomorrow could be another milestone on our resurgence, or we could have our arrises handed to us. Fun though, innit? Leaving for the NE in a little over an hour!
I'm nervous about tomorrow........................ on 15:23 - Nov 19 with 1432 views | Chrisd | We couldn't be playing Sunderland at a better time. Low in confidence, struggling to win games and score goals. Nevertheless, it is still a big test especially at The Stadium of Light, but if we can win there after good displays at Portsmouth and Wycombe then it's further proof our side are very much on the up and on the promotion charge.

I'm nervous about tomorrow........................ on 17:51 - Nov 19 with 1183 views | gtsb1966 | I think Sunderland are a bit like us really in terms of they haven't reached their full potential. There is a team there, it just depends which one turns up and that could be for either side. I think we have progressed though whilst they have stagnated after a good start. Could go either way but hopefully ours.

I watch a lot of SAFC. I think just about any team outside the Top 6 other than us and they win comfortably. We are probably the right fixture to help raise them from recent slumbers. You are correct it could go either way. I cant help thinking though that this is a game if we really are going to get going and make a push for promotion we need to turn up in and get something from the game. You are correct it could go either way.
I'm nervous about tomorrow........................ on 18:19 - Nov 19 with 1122 views | clive_baker | At the risk of stating the obvious it's all about how we play tomorrow. If we play as well as we know we can, we'll be fine. My nervousness is we've not seen that performance for near on 3 weeks, albeit the side hasn't been settled in that time. It is a great opportunity to make the league table interesting reading though, if we're sat here this time tomorrow on 27 points, we'll be 1 behind Sunderland (albeit they have games in hand) with them due to visit PR next month. It'll start to look much better. Sunderland are in horrible form, their last 2 league games were a 5-1 defeat at Rotherham and a 3-0 defeat at Sheff Wed. They've also been dumped out of the FA Cup at home to Mansfield in that time. They'll be expected to take the game to us, which I think could suit us. Again, cliche to say it, but the 1st goal feels big. Their fans will be restless if we take the lead.

Funnily enough, I think we might go a goal down early on, but come back to win 2-1 or 3-1...so I won't panic if they do score...well, not much!

I think as Christian Walton said these games can define our season. As I and few others have said before we really need to string together wins to get up the table, yet whilst we have played some wonderful football we never seem like we will go on that run.

I’m never sure a break is helpful. It has never seemed to benefit us, though that may just be misplaced perception. If players are not playing games, they are training. Surely they prefer the former and overall I would have thought it more beneficial to get in a rhythm of playing matches - providing you have a big enough and good enough squad to do it. Avoids fixture pile up too.

Agree totally. Town need to basically have a real good go at them , hopefully get an early goal and get the home crowd in their teams back . Br brave basically but defend well as a whole team .
