....Norwood starts though - he couldn't be further from the team

You probably know more about the Norwood situation than most, but I for one am disappointed he can't stay match fit because I feel he would've been a real asset for us and brings something a little different than either Bonne and Pigott.

I think he's actually a very similar player to bonne actually, just less good.

I think he's a more natural goal scorer in all honesty.

They both have issues with one-on-ones.

He'd guarantee us 3 points. Maybe even 6...

Saw him at Asda BSE yesterday, which puts bed to the rumours that he's back in Eastbourne, shame about him not working out this season as would've been a good option.

Maybe. I think it's a fair observation that both could do better with their finishing!

My general point stands though that they have similar attributes.

Norwood would be further from the team if he wasn’t being considered for the 23’s.

Isn’t this the first time he’s played for the 23’s? If that’s the case, then it could be the door’s a little bit open and this is an opportunity to get some minutes in him.

Norwood enjoys the physicality and the battles with the CBs.

Why are they giving him minutes? To get him fitter and easier to offload?

Otherwise, seems strange to give him game time when others could fill in for 23’s.

Where is Baggot at the moment Joe? Is he still at Kings Lynn...

With Ndaba away, I thought he was next in line behind The Wolf.

yeah it could be more about play a good game today, do really well and he could start/be on bench on Saturday?

Yengi or Amin could be considered tomorrow (hence no involvement today) but won't be on Saturday. Saturday will be taken much more seriously than tomorrow night.

I'm sure you are right though Joe considering he's transfer listed. If he's not even on the bench Saturday, I agree he's not going to be involved this season full stop and he's as good as gone.

He's not been with King's Lynn since last season, and actually could still have played for us even when he was with them, come to think of it. Assume he would have been available if he's OK after the knock he had when away with Indonesia

I'd imagine there must be some kind of contractual obligation to provide some sort of playing opportunity to keep him fit.

If he's behaving the right way then let him earn his place again and get him in the team I say. It's not hard to work out we're a better squad with him in it.

That ship has sailed. And besides, Pigott can't get a kick in the league so Norwood has no chance anyway.

Maybe, but I’d say Norwood is a closer fit to Bonne than Pigott is.

I like Pigott but he’s not a target man and if we continue to lump the ball forward and feed of the scraps, then a player like Norwood is a better bet.

For me, Pigott doesn’t fit in at the moment unless we can get the ball forward to him along the ground. Looks like a player who prefers to be part of a two up front. But, nonetheless, Pigott is next in line and deserves a start.

Pigott scored 20+goals for Wimbledon playing as a '1'.

He should fit, but Bonne's form kept him out up to now. Up to Cook to figure out how to use him

I don’t really know why I’m getting involved, but Pigott didn’t score 20+ goals for Wimbledon playing as a 1.

He played upfront with Ollie Palmer mostly.
