Yeah, Portsmouth too. It's pretty crap for away games. Big day out to Franchise FC again then? And Forest Green is going to see endless blubbing about ticket availability.

Ha. Suffice to say green man (in wales) is usually a bit wetter than burning man......

Burton on a Tuesday night. FFS on 09:18 - Jun 23 with 1204 views | Darth_Koont | If there were discussions before about this then I missed them. But seeing it here, I think that’s a pretty smart compromise in November and with the WC. It *shouldn’t* cause teams in League One much of a problem but the risk of fixture upheaval is greatly minimised. And probably wouldn’t have been a good commercial idea to have too much football that month either. A couple of games to keep the league season ticking over feels about right.

Nope, its two blank weekends for the FA Cup - Easy to forget that we enter at Round 1 nowadays - FFS

Doh! Of course, you’re right. Although I hope I don’t get too used to this League One/FA Cup 1st Round malarkey. I want to stay in denial until we get promoted. [Post edited 23 Jun 2022 9:36]

Burton on a Tuesday night. FFS on 09:36 - Jun 23 with 1040 views | Steve_M | Forest Green will be rail replacement buses from Swindon to Stroud, so even before trying to get to the ground which is miles from any station. FFS. Actually, scratch that had the wrong date in. Still a big trek from Stroud. [Post edited 23 Jun 2022 9:38]

Livid. Got a freind in Uttoxeter and we had earmarked Port Vale and Burton, both about 20 minutes from his. As for Bristol Rovers, don't get me started. Being FGR's first home game isn't ideal either from a football perspective, they'll be right up for that. Fancied them away in about March when they're smoked. [Post edited 23 Jun 2022 9:41]

Burton on a Tuesday night. FFS on 09:38 - Jun 23 with 1016 views | dirtyboy | Does make you stop and realise that there's still no easy game and getting out of this leage isn't the easy job some think. We all know FGR will give us a right good go and Bolton have made a fair few signings and Bradley is a real coup for them, some real quality. MKD we know will be a decent team, regarldless of losing Twine (generally I think it's expected). Tough little start, but hey, we've got to beat everyone at some point to have a chance of an automatic spot.

And I will be on my way down to FolkEast when the Burton Tuesday night game is on, excellent for a mental reminder to stay in Newark and check out the micro breweries, just to get me limbered up for the assault of cask ales in the beer tents.

According to ground guide it’s a 5m trek from the station to the ground! Just bought a gold card from my loyalty points to save me the shambles that would have been re getting tickets for it.

Burton on a Tuesday night. FFS on 10:53 - Jun 23 with 716 views | RobTheMonk | Sheffield Wednesday away and Oxford away (well, home for me) penciled in. Would have liked to do Burton again but no jazz on a Tuesday night. Potential for Bristol and/or MK away too.
Burton on a Tuesday night. FFS on 10:55 - Jun 23 with 712 views | ITFC_Forever | Annoyed Forest Green is the first away game, as that's the day we come back from holiday. I will be in Yorkshire (in York) at a wedding when we play Sheff Wed away. Morecambe A is inconvenient as I have something planned for that day too and it would have been new ground. Other than that, the fixtures have falled reasonably kindly with other commitments, although I will miss Charlton at home in April as we're at a wedding... although I need to factor in university open days as well.
