Presumably Arsenal would be happy to let him go regardless of getting anyone else in but probably reduces the chances of him being kept in an emergency situation i.e. cover if they have a bit of an injury crisis.
Expect he'll go with them on their US tour so we'll have to wait a while for any movement anyway I guess. |  |

Oh absolutely. Clutching at straws a little, but he joined Birmingham before Arsenal went to America last summer.
That said, he is a USA international now, so definitely worth Arsenal taking him with them from a marketing perspective. Especially as their second choice keeper Matt Turner (who’s also American) is still on his holidays. | |
