Morsy will be missed. Could be a tough introduction for Travis with the relatively inexperienced Taylor alongside. Jackson starting shows how far Ladapo's stock has fallen.

No Taylor up front then ... central midfield is a little new isn't it...i wonder how much the wings are going to be used today.

Sunderland are very strong down the wings so it's going to be a right battle there

Akuko, Sarmiento, Hutchinson and Harness off the bench - hope The Mackem’s have got plenty of full backs to bring on. Can only see this going one way today.

He's being groomed to be our back up left back and Taylor has had more football than him. Not sure that would be a positive step next to a debutant would it?

My big concern... the backline. Pretty young, a lot will be on Davis to create and I can see them getting stretched. Would be slightly happier with Tuanzebe there and that isn't on any of the starters as individuals.

Edmondson is 2 years younger than Burgess. Other than that it's the same backline as normal?

Tuanzebe is the same age as Edmundson and has played a lot fewer games other his career, so not sure what point you're making with the age of out backline

I'm just chuffed Clarke and Davis are back in

That's the spirit!

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

Lots of rumours about him off to Carlton/stevenage was curious whether he’d be in the squad
