That’s the point really. I think about 6 of those 15 we were in the same division. So yet another example of tinpot buddies claiming some kind of victory/ achievement, when there’s actually none. You only have to look at the fact they were singing 15 years before the game at their place in April. Before.
At that stage we'd had most of this season, four years in League One and then the relegation season when we drew twice with them. So it was nearly 7 years since they'd even beaten us.
So they are singing a song about a period between 2009 and 2017 where we didn't beat them and in about half of those seasons we didn't play them either.
