A little thought as you enter the polling booth to make your mark.... 07:34 - Jul 4 with 7748 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

"Abandon hope all ye who enter here."

What a 'choice.'
Notable on the who to vote for thread how many are going to come out feeling a little bit dirty.

Not dirty at all - I simply want the Tories out.

Labour aren’t as left as under the previous fool but they are still very much better than the current administration.

Well I suppose if further privatisation is your thing.

P.s. Probably as well for you that you don't live in Clacton.

Like how removal of employment protections and having more sh1t in the rivers was yours in 2016?

Voting isn't marriage, it's public transport. You're not waiting for "the one" who's absolutely perfect: you're getting the bus, and if there isn't one to your exact destination, you don't not travel - you take the one going closest to where you want to be.

Not sure I noticed too much difference beforehand but anyway you Labour voters are clearly fans of neoliberalism so I get your love in for the EU too.

Even if that bus has been in full reverse since your first opportunity to vote?

Well it's actually rebranded neoconservativism still but well done you for consenting.

Boris' parties, Patel's Patter, Rwanda, EHRC on the chopping block, and the "party of fiscal responsibility" has been reckless. Im surprised they didn't get round to blaming it all on benefits before this election to complete the clean sweep.

While Starmer might be center right, I am all for the changing of the guard too. Shame on those chuckle fugs who took us for a ride.

I know what you mean about choice. What a shower - apart from Count Binface (intergalactic space warrior, leader of the Recyclons from planet sigma IX, lovejoy fan).

However, I always feel quite privileged to vote. In the dim and distant, most of my ancestors wouldn’t have had the chance and many across the world don't to this day

I am OK with voting Labour since Corbyn went. Not entirely convinced by Starmer but he's 100% better than the previous leader.

If you are voting Conservative after the last 14 years then more fool you. Things might be better or worse under Labour I’m very much unsure but I’d rather try my luck with them.

I find the 'nose-holding' somewhat promising when it comes to kicking the incompetent, corrupt, criminally-negligent, racist, dog-whistling, divisive, culture-war-stoking c**ts out of power.

It says to me that there'll, hopefully, be a fair chunk of tactical voting going on today.

Seems to me that almost nobody is actually voting FOR something today. What a state of affairs.

You know what, though? Based on the utter mess in which we find ourselves, that's absolutely fine by me. All today is about is getting the Tories out and, hopefully, giving them the kicking of a lifetime from which they never recover.

John Oliver summed it up perfectly in that video I posted last week:

“If a wild badger broke into your home and f**ked everything up for 14 years straight, tearing absolutely everything apart, you would think: ‘OK, you know what, we’ll worry about redecorating choices later. Right now, that badger needs to f**king go.’”

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

This is what voting has become a long time ago "vote for the least offensive outcome".

I live in hope that one day we will see a party put a cohesive manifesto together and attempt to deliver on it - but for now, its about trying to limit the number of corrupt from the commons.

That said, Im sure the Labour in fighting will break out within 6 months... we go again

I think most people realise that's not going to happen - they've been left with a pile of sh1t to deal with and no money.
