We all know Sunak would not have gone, and if he had left early anyway because he would have had an important interview.

Next thing you’ll be drinking a mug of coffee with two hands while wearing a nice wooly cardy.

Get a grip.

Our Prime Ministers have always been huge football fans. Cameron always took time out to watch his beloved West Villa.

Dunno. West Villa sounds far more like a Tory holiday destination.

Thames Aston Works is presumably the commoner equivalent.

Sunak would definitely have gone because he's a politician just like Kier Starmer, and they love to bathe in other people's success. At least Starmer was actually elected, but even then Starmer was very much the beneficiary of anti-Tory sentiment.
It would be lovely if Starmer could sort out our country, but it just feels like we've gone from Paul Hurst to Paul Lambert. Maybe we should try someone not called Paul.

….I had a disagreement with the missus about soft furnishings at the weekend.

She described me as “a massive girl” and told me to “man up”.

I just flounced off clutching my cushions.
