Big positive - Ben Johnson looked blooming brilliant!

Interesting. I thought he looked pretty poor myself.

I thought he was poor.

Someone needs to tell him to stop shooting from 25 yards as well.

Thought he was poor, gave the ball away too often again.

Nah, you can tell he has something.

I may of course be on a different planet, I also think Jack Taylor has something about him but my mates think he isn't up to it.

Agreed. Didn’t think his use of the ball was good enough nor did he move it quick enough at times.

Interesting. I thought he saw a lot of the ball tonight, but can't say I was impressed with what he did with it

Literally two poor players tonight. No end product from either.

Thought he was the worst player on the pitch, gave the ball away a lot. Hopefully it’s a case that he’s still getting used to his role / players around him, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see Axel starting Saturday in his place.

I didn't think he was poor but seems unwilling to overlap, is that a symptom of having played for Moyes?

I obviously see things differently.

I distinctively remember my friend, many years ago, constantly telling me that Johnny Wark was rubbish.

@ StochesStotasBlewe - Take a guess who that was?

You've got it! It was our mutual Laughing Policeman friend, AKA The Stig.

Apart from his first friendly I think Johnson has been poor. And although he never played tonight Muric worries me everytime the ball goes back to him hope he learns quickly he hasn't got all day.

He was given a lot of space but there wasn't much incisive about his play. That said, give the bloke a break, I doubt he knows Ogbene's first name yet.

I have no problem with him shooting from 25 yards especially in view of the fact that he was given so much space to do so. When he scores from that distance - and he will one day - no one's going to be complaining.

Loses possession far too often. I also think he’s not great defensively. Most disappointing of all the new signings. Thought he was clearly our weakest link last night when in possession.

Ah, yes, I remember that now you come to mention it.
Believe he changed his mind when Warky came back for his second stint at the club though.

I must get in touch and see what he’s up to nowadays.

We have no village green, or a shop. It's very, very quiet. I can walk to the pub.

I really hate myself for not liking taylor as I loved it when we signed him, but in all the game last night, we barely gave the ball away, yet he comes on and within 3 minutes, he passed a 5 yard ball to wimbledon then followed it up with another.

He just looks like he needs to play the advanced midfielder role only, he doesn't have that Morsy/Loungo turn, or close ball control to get out of a press and then pass it cleanly to a town player.

I do think he'll be on his way, it was a good signing for the league we were in at the time, but imo he's got worse in his time here and last night was his chance to shine coming on, but he didn't imo.

for him i'd like him to back to posh and ping some balls into the net and enjoy his football again.

a niche perspective

Thought Johnson has looked hit and miss so far, certainly last night. Good player though, and will improve.

Taylor has the attributes but does he have the time. Our double promotion hasn't been kind to his development, imho.

If you're going to dig someone out, at least watch some form of football.

He seemed to have more of the ball than anyone else, and I can't fault his efforts, but it was a mixed bag and I thought he lacked quality compared to most of his teammates. Be surprised to see him start over Tuanzebe.
