Fair enough, if that wasn't the angle. Not sure about you but I put very little store into what 'pundits' say.

It reminds me of Shearer back in the day who clearly did eff all research, even though he was being paid a whack of license fee money. Tbf he's got much better at this. Although he's still pretty crap, cos the bar was so low, as well as being comedy bizarrely uninsightful.

I do love commentators and pundits, they do provide some right laughts. Watching Southampton v chelsea last night, there was a ball played to someone uptop who was clearly and i mean very clearly even on the tele that he was onside as he standing about 4 yards infront the defender, physically standing still. "Oo, I think we might get a flag for offside here" I was like wtf are you actually watching

Yes they do. They just don't get every single mistake plastered over twitter. She is not a good pundit, and she should not get the gigs she does imo. But there are plenty of pundits who are as bad as she is who dont get the same level of criticism. Paul Merson, Martin Keown etc all talk absolute nonsense.

I don't like Martin Keown as a pundit but he's an example of a boring one who does at least do a lot of prep work, he has pages of notes he's made in advance with stats and facts and player info etc. Aluko judging by every thing she says being diabolically wrong, and not just by a slight amount, doesn't do so. Yet she still gets this work.

England V Algeria at the World Cup. Shearer: "To be honest, I don't know anything about Algeria" WELL THAT'S YER JOB! As his mate Roy Keane might say.

Taken from Twitter - Sones sister on 16:35 - Dec 5 with 1883 views | _clive_baker_ | Never ceases to amaze me how crap pundits are. I don't expect them to have as deep an understanding or knowledge of the intricacies of football clubs as us fans do of our own, but some base level research wouldn't go amiss. Like if that's your actual job, put some time in to do a bit of research before you go on air at least.

She's an awful pundit. The reason that every mistake gets plastered over Twitter is because she's made a post-playing career of baiting people into calling her out. This is how she gets engagements, which is the currency of social media content creators.

My 2014 Sony 40” has a ‘football’ button that reduces commentary volume and boosts ambient stadium sound.

Micah Richards on MOTD last night said we've got some good players, and named Delap, Davis, Hutchinson... and Clarke. Now, Clarke has the potential to be a very good player, but you certainly wouldn't say he has been good this season. He's obviously just watched the game against Palace, and seen he was quite silky, and decided he's decent.
