I genuinely don't think we've been that bad today, City are just levels above. The first 20 we actually looked good i thought. Second half we've given up a bit - that third goal killed it.

I've had a bottle of Broadside sitting in the fridge since last night, whether for celebration (eg Broadhead hat-trick) or commiseration.

We still only need to be better than Southampton, Leicester and Wolves.

Interested to know how you got that opinion of Philogene?

6-0 down and he’s trying no look passes, bet McKenna loved that!

I actually agree he’ll be a player for us, but didn’t really have the chance to,show that today.

No way would they have scored six today if Axel had been match fit & a starter.

We continued to look to play - at times, we moved up the pitch very well
Heads didn't drop
We got in some good positions
Philogene looks both composed and potentially dangerous

They were ruthless though. Sometimes you've just got to hold your hands up and admit you weren't good enough. It's sport - someone has to lose and we know it's not from a lack of effort. I'm still proud of what we've achieved over the last few seasons (and would have stayed to the end ).

That we have a much easier game on paper next week… Oh…

Definitely not too soon, it's the only mature attitude to have given where we've come from.

Philogene looks full of intent and is a lot taller than I thought he was. Axel back, Godfrey will be a good player for us as well - we have a lot of speed at the back now. Delap scares the sh*t out of literally every defender in the game.

Decent crowd response.

Successfully completing a no look pass.

Your edgelord act is so old and boring. Decades on and your still acting like a pubescent oik.

I love the names that seem to surface on the coverage you get over there.

Robbie Mustoe. That's a name I haven't heard since, well, 1995 probably.

I noticed Craig Burley on something the other week (I caught it on YouTube). I didn't even recognise him.

Nobody asked a City player for his shirt at the end, FA Cup-style.

Only positives I see is City.

Much cleaner and none of the sh*thousery and play-acting we see from almost all other Prem teams.

(Or perhaps we were so poor they didn't even have to resort to that)

We have Mustoe and Robbie Earle and they’re both really good. Just analysis and no banter. Micah Richards and Carragher on CBS are unwatchable, pair of cretins.

Burley is on ESPN, bit of an “angry man in the pub” style about him but decent.

Stats weren’t quite reflective of the score tbh, they suggest we created enough to get one, and that would have been early on of course which might have made some difference. But as we know it’s the sort of league where this can happen to a side like ours. Think how good Newcastle are and they’ve just shipped 4 at home to Bournemouth.
There were a couple of deflections that were really harsh on us with the goals as well, but on to the, we win together and lose together
