Definitely doing this out of a sense of patriotism, and not just to cream a tidy profit off the top... He's just a fascist Del Boy, isn't he.

It’s quite amusing that he thinks the priority product for his supporters is nappies.

Anyway, I can suggest a way of saving even more on those - there are several charities around that will provide free reusable/washable ones. No need to fall for another Farage scam.

Whatever the reason behind it doesn’t matter. Looks like it’s going to potentially save people money in a time when a lot of people really need it.

Not sure this is true though, one should always look for the reason behind actions.

I understand your point, and it poses an interesting ethical question about the validity of (seemingly) good deeds done by bad people with potential ulterior motives.

Is it all that, though? He's offering 84 Pampers for £14, which is the same price as most supermarkets (with a vague promise of up to 25% off; a lowest price of £10.50). You can get the same amount of Mamia nappies from Aldi for £4.99.

I've not read the T&Cs, but it feels like (alongside lining the knut's pockets) this is the perfect opportunity for Reform to get hold of the names, addresses, and contact details of those in one of their core demographics, whilst also advancing Führage's 'man of the people' schtick.

Considering it was only Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday - maybe the ignorant comparisons to Nazi Germany can be left out.

I can't stand Farage, but nothing he has done is remotely on a level with Hitler and trying to put the two on a similar level simultaneously cheapens any point you're trying to make and also shows a lack of understanding of what those that experienced Naziism went through.

Feels more like a self-promotion exercise - I don’t see how this works as a business model.

He’s never going to match someone like Tesco for scale and buying power. Typical supermarket margins are ~2-4% on many products, so even if he’s selling at cost I don’t see how he’s going to compete with that. Sure his fans will buy in regardless…

He’s right though. Farage is a nasty little racist and anti semite. But referring to him as Führage trivialises the Holocaust.

An I’m sure that isn’t your intention.

Good old Nige. This will help a lot of immigrants financially and allow them to have more children, which has to be a good thing for the UK's ageing population. They might get houses, cars and mobile phones, but those benefits don't go far when bringing up a few children.

Always remember, now he is an MP he needs to declare every penny he receives from outside interests, so we'll see how much he skims off from this.

Farage is of course such a proud patriot, that he is paid through a limited company "Thorn in the Side Ltd" for his work (excluding MP salary) to minimise as much tax as possible to be paid.

A good business will make a profit and provide a good service, in this case the stated aim is lower prices.
Mutual self-interest is not a bad thing.
Come back with some proper allegations.
You just look like a deranged ex-lover when you criticize everything the man does.

A better criticism (if you have time in the day to criticise everything) is that this is not a new idea at all. There was at least one website doing this years ago (I bought my first DVD player from them).

He is advocating a cooperative and could be on to something. Working together we share the benefits of bulk buying, shared expertise etc, a sort of 'common market'. If only the countries of Europe, say, could form a similar union.

You make some good points, then you come off like a child calling him "Führage".
If people really care about saving money they don't buy Pampers, but then again you can't always tell which nappies will give your child nappy rash.

It isn't absolutely clear that Farage is a "bad person", but anyway it doesn't matter because plenty of bad things have been done with good intentions, in fact the Nazis had good intentions (that is believed that they were good).

There is nothing wrong with Farage making money off of people saving money. There is a valid concern about how companies handle our data.

The business can compete with brick and mortar based on costs, but delivery costs would be the killer and it would be near impossible to compete with Amazon.

It would be a good debate to have about how patriotism correlates with paying taxes. You might argue that paying taxes that prop up a government that is bad for the country is not patriotic.
He would be a hypocrite if he were telling others to pay as much tax as possible. Minimizing taxes may even put you off voting for him, but it is really difficult to see a correlation to patriotism.
