Enciso out for 4 weeks on 17:37 - Feb 20 with 3623 views | Illinoisblue | Less than ideal but not as bad it could have been. We could do with Chappers back asap

Enciso out for 4 weeks on 17:51 - Feb 20 with 3491 views | itfcsuth | It’s not ideal. He’s a talented player, and one with good PL quality, but all things considered it’s not disastrous. [Post edited 20 Feb 17:51]

Enciso out for 4 weeks on 17:55 - Feb 20 with 3435 views | textbackup | Glad we didn’t get in that third striker, you know, with the option of having him play there if anything happened to Delap or Hirst

I thought not serious meant a week or two at most, but maybe lost in translation and not serious meant he will actually play football again.

Good point however I don't think I ever got the name of the player we would bring in who would improve the squad from what we have and yet would be happy to be 2nd or 3rd choice . . .

Equally we could have got a third striker in as a bit of a panic buy who did their ACL in the first training session they did with us......

....for our recruitment team I wouldn't expect you to know. It's not your area of expertise. It is meant to be their speciality though....

The sources in Paraguay were a bit vague, actually said Town hadn't set a timescale. I read it as around two or three weeks. The concern from their perspective was that he had a serious injury to the same knee which kept him out for six months previously, so not serious meant not something which was going to need surgery or keep him out for a lengthy period.

Another good point. That team certainly did well with the likes of Delap and Hirst over the last couple of years, which suggests they know what they are doing so therefore one *could* draw the conclusion that maybe no-one suitable was either available or willing to move within the financial and playing time constraints . . . When Enciso came in he looked like a really clever pick up for that 3rd choice striker. Able to improve us regularly as a 10 but a better option than our other players as a make shift 9. Given the lack of options in the striker market I think he was a good choice. For me a much better option than getting someone like Latte Lath in who might have been more restricted in how we could use him and wouldn't have improved the squad other than giving us a bit of redundancy in the 9 role.

....argument that just because "Johnny Nobody" on the internet can't come up with a player it means that there isn't one, is a load of balls really.

Enciso out for 4 weeks on 20:11 - Feb 20 with 2356 views | _clive_baker_ | A blow if true, but given the schedule it’s possible he ‘only’ misses 3 or 4 league games. I probably would’ve taken that when he went off at Villa.

He does also look like the difference between staying up and not based on the impetus he gave us.

I don’t have the article - does it say when that four week clock starts ticking? That might be just 3 PL games - and he is cup tied anyway

"Johnny Nobody on the internet" wouldn't know if there was a viable candidate either.

That's our take on it when he arrived I thought survival, That's taken a big blow, He's nothing like what we have in the club, Wolves fans are confident of staying up their fixtures v ours, I think the same, Our learning curve and the dropped points has cost us, But boy we've learnt, IF we go down I'm sure we're on a very sound platform and will have a great season,

Based on that no club would ever sign a player ever again.
