A man whose billion dollar business pays no tax talking about America being healthy! Just smoke and mirrors. But how small old and insignificant did Trump look. Scum all 3 of them

Just in case anyone wondered who is actually running the USA... on 22:27 - Feb 20 with 3333 views | Trequartista | It's kind of amazing that in the UK and particularly amongst conservatives or those on the right, I can't find anyone who agrees with them. The Daily Mail, Daily Express etc are all aghast. Farage disagrees. Even Kelvin McKenzie has popped up on gb news and condemned them. They're off the scale, and yet we rely on them for security. What a predicament! But it makes me think the USA is more different to the UK than i thought. They're not on the same scale. Free speech is enshrined in their constitution, so maybe they're just used to people spouting such nonsense as part of their culture.

Vance can be President, Musk can't. Moreover, the former is much closer to true MAGA, a lot of whom are not keen on Elon. Can't think any of the establishment will back Musk in a fight between them.

I have worked for 2 x US companies covering the last nearly 30 years, and I can assure you that the UK and US have always been very different culturally, socially and professionally. The only truly similar thing is the language, and even that could be debated.

Think you are right about Trump’s health a sudden heart attack or stroke , induced or otherwise. Was looking at the line of succession, they don’t re-elect, after Vance it is the Speaker of the House, then 90+ year old senator. https://www.usa.gov/presidential-succession Some crazy options there.

Agree with that. They are as foreign as the Chinese as far as I’m concerned and their version of the English language just confuses. It’s very much countries within countries, America, from my very limited experience. My last visit was 2020, so a long time ago now. What struck me was how tired and backward it felt. 30 years before it seemed the land of plenty. Even cheap motels were better than what we had. Food, service, everything was superior. Not by 2020. It was like they’d never moved on. I’m not sure isolationism and protectionism is going to help much. For example, there’s a reason why Americans buy Volkswagens and Toyotas. American cars are junk. It’s the same reason that Boeing is struggling too - apart from its aircraft flying into the ground (aged, overweight 737 Max). As for that grotesque, unhinged, criminal orange thing and that rubber faced tool with a baseball cap and ugly all day kid, it astonishes me that they’re worshipped by 300 million people. They’re welcome to those idiots. The best thing the U.K. can do is to distance themselves as quickly as possible from them along with the rest of the world. This ‘special relationship’ guff really annoys me. There’s no such thing and never has been. Like all countries, from their perspective we exist to be taken advantage of.

It's worth remembering that Trump got, just under half the popular vote and that for many reasons a lot less than half of population of the United States voted anyway. As in most democracies he is very much a minority leader.

Yep, agree with that. It’s easy to assume they’re most similar to us Brits because of the obvious historical links, language, etc. But we’re very different. We’ve got much more in common with some of the Western Europeans, the Dutch especially.

Typical Farage though. He knows that’s a step too far, but at the same time he’s supporting and reiterating the substance of Trump’s words about Zelensky. Just not openly calling him a dictator. He’s very good at knowing how far he can push it, just like with racism. He’s aware enough to know what’s just about acceptable, which is what distinguishes him from the likes of Yaxley-Lennon.

I agree with that, just look at their bizarre attitude on gun control, but unfortunately lots of British people do end up copying them with our language and culture. [Post edited 21 Feb 18:44]

Do you mean his approval rating is about 4%?
