Lineup for tonight then... on 11:10 - Mar 3 with 2547 views | tractorboy1978 | Not sure what 'full strength' looks like but I'll be disappointed if we don't start Palmer, Axel, Davis, Delap, Cajuste. They are indisputably our 5 most important players for me. We need to win to build some confidence. And I'd expect Forest may rest a few too. It's a great opportunity for us.
Lineup for tonight then... on 11:14 - Mar 3 with 2518 views | Mullet | I’d like to see Hurst start and wouldn’t be against what you’ve gone with. I’m still fuming the draw is so turd though. Can’t go tonight, and if we don’t go out it’s unlikely I can go to the arse end of nowhere again for the next round.

It'll be interesting to see what Forest do. If they rest a few and we somehow manage to win, then Forest fans would surely be furious. What an opportunity this is for them to win the FA Cup. That said, their second string may be enough. I don't think we have a lot of players that merit protecting to be honest, probably only Delap. With that in mind I think the OP will be pretty close.

Is it the worst FA Cup quarter final draw in history? It bores the life out of me and we might be in it!

I don't disagree, I'd go stronger, but given the priority will be survival I think we'll have more than half an eye on Palace at the weekend. Instinctively I'm not sure we've ever looked particularly coherent after international breaks or rest weekends but hey ho. I'd imagine Axel, Davis, O'Shea, Greaves, Philogene, Delap, Cajuste etc all come back in Saturday.

I like Forest and if it’s not us to win it (which isn’t likely) I’d like it be them. The thought of Brighton winning anything is perverse and against the laws of humanity and nature. Fulham - meh might be nice for a change, but not exactly the peoples club are they? Newcastle need to remain trophyless. Who’s left?

It would be folly for me if go with a weakened team. Not sure resting players really does us any favours ahead of a game in 5 days. A disjointed performance and defeat tonight is of no benefit.
Lineup for tonight then... on 11:24 - Mar 3 with 2376 views | muccletonjoe | Taylor doesn't really fit into KM tactics. Cajuste is sort of shoe horned into it. We have a system which suits the manager but unfortunately, not all the players.
Lineup for tonight then... on 11:26 - Mar 3 with 2360 views | SuffolkPunchFC | It so much depends on returns from injury. Philips, Cajuste and Chappers may all be available. I'm not suggesting that we want all to start, but I would like to see Chappers start a game like this if available. His energy and tenacity could be a real lift for the team.
Lineup for tonight then... on 11:30 - Mar 3 with 2325 views | BrentwoodBlagger2 | I agree apart from Godfrey and Johnson, unless of course we do not want to win the game. Just not having either of them - no positional sense.

A few big clubs are out but while Man City remain it’s hard to get too excited.
Lineup for tonight then... on 11:50 - Mar 3 with 2151 views | homer_123 | Is there a match tonight? I thought the consensus was there wasn't much point, just get relegated, ignore the rest of the season and start in August.

We have to play Godfrey and continue to build his match fitness.

Lineup for tonight then... on 11:51 - Mar 3 with 2138 views | NthQldITFC | No idea, but I actually quite fancy our nominal second string side against other second string sides because I think we have a togetherness which runs through the club still. You get a lot of last year's squad into a team blended with a few new boys and I'd fancy us IF Forest make significant changes too.

I heartily agree with this. Our form is *so* bad right now that I feel as though the second string will probably come into this with a spring in their step. There's also the risk of playing our first team and - even if we avoid injuries - losing badly. That would be disastrous for morale.
Lineup for tonight then... on 12:52 - Mar 3 with 1799 views | PioneerBlue | Agree a little tricky to select. Your suggestion looks good but might lack natural width or pace going forward but it’s also tricky to know how NF will approach their selection, either fully rest key players or go strong and aim to get another go at Brighton!

We won't be interested in the cup or making a go if it, we never are, we'll start a totally different team to save legs for the next league game and bow out tonight. If we can keep it to under 2-0 we will have done alright, Forest will be a bit much for our irregulars.

Plenty of posts on the board discussing the possibility of us winning the cup and getting relegated in the same season - with a variety of opinions as to whether that would be a good thing I am going to try something else: would you prefer us to win the cup and get relegated, or Man City to win the cup and get relegated after a huge points deduction and which is more likely?
