Remaining games 21:33 - Apr 1 with 2646 views | blueprint | I really am struggling to get remotely enthused about our remaining games . Saturdays game almost feels like it will be the final nail in the coffin although truth be told the writings been on the wall for months. The sad thing is I’ve become so used to us losing that it doesn’t even hurt anymore. I think many of us can see that the gulf is so big that we really never stood a chance. Roll on August.

Who knows what might have happened if Cunha had been appropriately dealt with.

It’s easy to blame that, as well as other controversial decisions, for our present situation. But we’ve simply made far too many mistakes defensively or haven’t taken our chances to stand a realistic chance of staying in the PL.

I doubt we would have won many more games.

Remaining games on 21:48 - Apr 1 with 2346 views | Linners | Not quite there yet. Still really want to take a couple more wins with us, and to get a few more points in the bag. And I'd like to finish 18th. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Get a few wins, enjoy some away days, develop some players, go out in style on 21:55 - Apr 1 with 2230 views | unstableblue | Let’s finish above Leicester and Saints, comfortably Let’s get form into Greaves, Clarke and Philogene Let’s enjoy our last game ever at Goodison Park. Let’s not go down with a whimper - let’s back the team. Let’s win a few. And be our best - on the pitch and in the terrace. Go into Championship in form.

Maybe getting the train would cheer you up if the drive is putting you off?

...say you'd bought two items for £30 each plus an additional £2.50 each for admin and postage and decided to sell them, you'd expect the person buying them to pay the additional £5 as well wouldn't you? I would. If I was in that position. Which obviously I'm not.

I would indeed, considering how in demand those tickets would be too… I’d think a beer or five could be chuck in as well

Remaining games on 22:16 - Apr 1 with 1947 views | Joey_Joe_Joe_Junior | We did stand a chance though, we were out of the bottom 3 if we held on at Fulham, Wolves form was still very dicey for a lot of this year. Unfortunately we have got 2 points (I think) this calendar year and it's April.

The depressing thing is how we could easily have those 12 points. Win against Leicester, Southampton, Brentford, Bournemouth and Fulham and we would be in with more than a shout. Close but no cigar.

Remaining games on 10:53 - Apr 2 with 1180 views | VanDusen | I seriously wonder whether someone should actually start up a 'get out of our league' campaign. I was talking to an armchair Man Utd fan when at the England game the other week who looked really surprised when I told him that I don't think I know a single fan in the EFL (and indeed some of the coasting Premier League clubs like Palace) who wouldn't wish the 'big six' away into their Super League in a heartbeat. Given we're hardly alone with feeling how rubbish the Premier League has become maybe there needs to be a bit more real fans of real clubs uniting to show the media and the owners that there is a real disenchantment with the whole thing and far from the narrative that "fan power stopped the super league" actually most of the fans who actually go to games would love it. Who knows - I imagine such a campaign might solicit quite a bit of funding from Real Madrid/Barcelona/Juventus to support it! ;o)

The big clubs should have been allowed to join the Euro super league but told that they would have to resign from the English football pyramid.

Yup, but thinking back to the games we did win/get points from, it would be hard to argue that we've ever been the better side. Even the Chelsea game, by most measures they battered us.
Remaining games on 11:20 - Apr 2 with 1066 views | ArnieM | I wouldn't mind "the gulf being so big", if the PL was actually worth watching. But it isn't. Now I've seen it first hand, you can keep it. The Championship is by far the better footballing experience.

Lets look at our own errors and shortcomings rather than clutch at straws and blame others. We haven't been good enough, we don't deserve to stay up - its sad but true.
